I'd bet the reason it couldn't shoot your pikmin holding berries is that carry-able objects also count as solid objects, most of them were holding the berries towards it like a shield lol.

Actually with the Bulbear and Groink their souls don't leave. We actually see this with the Bulbear twice in this video.

That's a really neat detail I didn't notice! Pikmin 2 has so much love and thought put into it that not enough people appreciate honesty

@@syweb2 Maybe it's a bit "Trollish" but I think it is in a really good way. The falling bombs and stuff create a sense of stress and paranoia while exploring the caves, which may seem like a bad thing, but if a game making you feel stressed and paranoid was a bad thing I wouldn't like horror games lol
