Deathbed Regrets on my Birthday 

Happy Birthday 🎉 I just turned 56 and realize that time is passing by. I have spent years not going places because of my Severe Anxiety disorder of leaving my house , plus I have bouts of depression. Now I'm on new meds and seeing Psychiatrist more often , so I'm finally trying harder to get out there and live life better.

I turned 65 this year. It was one of my goals and one of my fears because my mother died at 65 . Also the Pandemic changed a lot of things in my life as I'm sure it has for many people. My baby sister, 60 yrs old died of ovarian cancer right as the Pandemic kicked off so I wasn't able to be with her due to quarantine. My husband fell in the driveway and broke his hip and has never really recovered. My daughter had a miscarriage at 20 wks at the time Roe fell. And it felt like our country and my life was falling apart . It was a massive 2 year time of loss and grief . What all this has taught me is all the time I thought I was in control was just an illusion . I never really had control of anything. I've had an attitude re- adjustment . Nothing is a given . Now is the moment to have joy , to notice the beauty of the world and appreciate those around us. Glad I finally was able to do this by 65 though it took a lot of pain to get here. Happy Birthday!

My biggest issue is that I dont have friends or money to have fun. I play with my dolls, I play games, I craft, but I'm lonely. I dont have anyone to play with. And buying new dolls or stuffs for your dolls cost alot of money. An outfit for the OG dolls cost at least $20 (OG European website) plus shipping here in Sweden. And getting it from a physical store in Sweden costs even more. I want to have fun. I already regret not seeing my grandpa more before he passed last year. But traveling also cost money. I already know I will have lots of regrets on my deathbed. I even have to plan what to wish for my birthday and Xmas from my dad, bc there is a pricelimit on the gift, usually it needs to be less than $50 for birthday and I think less than $20 for Xmas, bc we are many siblings in a family with low income. I'm still trying to figure out what I want as birthday gift and my birthday was in October. All I got was a $20 from my mom on my birthday. Even if I've cut the ties with my mom, she still insists to send me money or a giftcard for my birthday. I never read the card, but money is money. Always better than nothing at all.
