As a father of a 35 year old, it was clear to me that your dad was having a 'my little girl is all grown up' moment when he first walked out. He remembers every detail of building the playset and how excited you both were to have it.
@@donabele1243 I'm 60, 4 grown children 37, 35, 33 and 30 I shared that same tear. I too felt the moment Sam's dad was in frame looking at his creation laying on the ground and reliving the joy of creating this play set for his children. My oldest son recently contacted me to ask if I would help him build a playset for his children to which I responded "YES, most certainly will!!!"
Watching this was comforting. Seeing a family working together on household projects was like going in a time machine back to simpler times. I can only imagine some of the emotions your dad was feeling remembering a big project from days gone by and his little girl growing up. Nice choices of music too. Great vid.
Kind of sad actually. But you will always have the great memories. Lucky to have great parents - makes for a great childhood - building blocks to becoming a wonderful person.
Samantha, As many others have said my wife and I have 3 grown children and could relate to what your dad must of been experiencing, sad in a way but a milestone in another way. Be careful and let that leg heal. Enjoy seeing your family in the videos, you are becoming a good RU-vid creator sharing your life. As ambitious as you are a bright future should come your way.
Seeing you dismantle your childhood play equipment, lovingly built by your father, evokes a mix of nostalgia and bittersweet emotions. It's evident that this structure holds countless cherished memories and represents the bond you shared with your dad and brother. But life is all about embracing change and growth, and I admire your strength in moving forward while holding those precious memories close to your heart. As one chapter ends, a new one begins, and I'm sure your dad's love and craftsmanship will continue to shape your path ahead. Thank you for sharing this heartfelt moment. 🌟💕
My daughter is in her twenties now, and we harvested the cedar wood from her placeset and made a workbench for our shop. And in the words of my daughter, "the swing set lives on!" 😊
You are a beautiful special person - a personality and skills young lady who can do it all. Love watching you with your work ethic - Keep it up - Nothing you can't do .
Bet you had many great memories on the play set. My kids had one and enjoyed it immensely. I remember building it and mistakenly stepped on a nail in one of the boards that went completely thru my sneaker. Happy times. thanks for sharing Samantha
That was a well constructed play castle. You are one determined young lady i 😅thought you were supposed to take it easy when you've got a leg brace not you, you carry on regardless. Take care and stay safe. Xx
Samantha is a very pretty young lady. Who knows her business. She is very skilled in what ever she does. Hats off to her courage working with a broken leg. I enjoy watching her go through her paces. Looking forward to more learning videos from this young lady.
How inspirational Sam could be to others her age. Many of that generation, even if they were willing, would not know where to begin dismantling the gym set. There are talkers and there are doers. Sam is a doer.
There is something super sweet about you taking out the nails that your dad pounded in so many year’s ago. You did a fantastic job cleaning up and you can tell you were raised right.
Always an inspiration to watch your videos, Sam ! When a youth my Dad was my mentor. He once salvaged a demolished structure for cement covered bricks used for the chimney he built in our new house. I was tasked with cleaning them. He also used lumber from demolished buildings to build his new car garage. My job was pulling nails out of the heap of boards so I can relate a little to this video. Drone shots & filming are awesome. Working with a broken foot was no easy task and speaks volumes of your tenacity, Sam. 👍👍🔨🐶✌🏻❤
dad built one fine play set.and your one impressive young woman sam.if your looking for a job working with your hands and an employer asks why he should hire your tell him to watch this video.if he doesn't hire you on the spot after watching it he's a fool.
Quite the fancy play set. I build a much simpler one for our kids. A few years ago I renovated it for our granddaughter so another generation can enjoy it.
Your enough to give this old man a heart attack. I see your light but I was not comfortable with that free standing tower on your brother's side. Be Safe !
Nature takes its toll. Hopefully some of it is salvageable for others with the skills to bring it back to life might be able to do so. Have stuff around from when my girls were little and I probably will have it until I step out the door. Good job Pop. Maybe have dad draw up some plans he can provide to others
Hi Sam, this was all a bit sad really, i imagine it was for you, your Mom and Dad also, a bit of family history gone never to be seen again. We love your dog, she was very concerned about you, LoL. Bob and Lina, New Zealand.
My granddaddy taught me how to back a nail up. He would always straighten it up and reuse it. I did the same with my mom and dad old house. Yes, straighten the nail up and reuse it agaun. Good memories.
Do you know how Sam hurt her leg? As it was mentioned on one of Andrew's videos that she hurt herself and said they'd tell us how but didn't, and I've just been binge watching Sam's videos trying to find out 😂
Great job on the construction "Dad", that set wasn't going anywhere for a very long time, and great job by Sam, that's a serious demo even with 2 good legs! Lena seemed sad until she remembered she had a frisbee 🤣🤣 Thx for sharing Sam, again, great job!
I know, it had to go, it was it's Time. Just like Everything in Life has a Place in Time. Your Dad built that out of Labor of Love, for his Kids, But I Bet He is Missing Them Days, Seeing his Kids Playing on it. It was a Piece of Your Childhood.
Sam how did you break your leg? O my goodness!!! I bet afterwards you were in a lot of pain that's a lot of work for anyone with a healthy leg. Lol haha great job. 🙏🦾🍺
You murderated it!!! Just teasing. All good things pass eventually. Your Dad "dun gud" and built that playhouse like a brick house. 👍 Wanted yall to be safe while playing. Hopefully a lot of the wood is reuseable in some manner. It least it is well seasoned , LOL.
Your demo techniques are such a different style than this guy we all know (and admire) from another channel who uses chainsaws and track loaders in his demo videos! Good job Sam!
S'il était dangereux, il fallait effectivement le détruire, mais si cela devait faire mal au coeur !!! Tu es douée...autant pour la mise en scene, le pilotage de drone et l'humour... 😉😉
Great job with your peg leg. Your boyfriend could use that culvert pipe on his mountain road...tell him we want to see you and him do the drainage for the road. So far we haven't seen one culvert pipe installed.
Judging by the amount of work you put in the demolition, this playset couldn't be all that rotten, good job by your Dad, it almost looked like bought, not built! Like the wheeled magnet broom, nice invention! 👍👍👍
Great work with the hand tools, maybe the future will bring a Skid/Demo , that Dawg certainly loves you to bits Sam everywhere you go he is there with you. Best wishes from the UK🐮
Sam another fantastic video you a remarkable young woman I admire you very much , and I enjoy your videos please keep them coming !! Thank you so much ! ❤️👌👍
Can't imagine what your dad was feeling watching you dismantle what he so lovingly pounded together all those years ago. Time to move on Sam into a brighter future.
Samantha, I enjoy very much your videos they’re entertaining and you’re a hard worker and that’s fun to watch. I’m betting your a quarter that your doctor cringes when he sees this video lol.
Fun how dads can remember pounding every nail on there kids projects. You did the playset justice on how you took it down. Your Dad must be so proud of you!!
