Thank you for this video. I have purchased Tom's toothpaste. I have hypersensitivity and am a clentcher and have paid greatly for it with dental work. I have subscribed and look forward to future videos (especially TMJ and bruxism).

I just found your channel and subscribed. I absolutely love it! My husband and I have both experienced the tooth sensitivity with Sensodyne. We're going to try Tom's. There are so many topics would be great to have a better understanding of i.e. causes/ remedies/ treatments for TMJ, bone loss, periodontal disease, difference in whiteners, gum graft vs pinhole technique, laser treatments. looking forward to your next video.

Ive learned more in two of your videos than 6 months looking at videos about teeth. Why did I start? Because asymptomatic on 2 teeth ended up me losing both of them. Now my mission in life is to keep my other teeth.

Yes it is. You will use lighter pressure than you would with a manual toothbrush. Sonicare and Oral-B have pressure sensors on them. If you are pushing too heavy, they either make a different noise or light up red. But, yes, completely safe, effective, and a better option. The bristles of the brush heads are softer as well.

Does the WaterPik allow you to remove a build-up of tartar or even plaque for someone who has neglected? I know it's best to go to the dentist and get a professional cleaning.

It cannot remove tartar. It can remove plaque. Plaque is soft and removable with brushing and waterpik/floss. Tartar is calcified and needs to be removed by a dental professional.
