I don't think so. Getting Taylor Swift to cameo as Dazzler would be pretty great. I mean, that would work creatively and it would be an effective gimmick. No one in their right mind thinks Swift is going to cancel tours and studio time to shoot a major part in an X-Men movie. But a cameo as Dazzler would be pretty effective. And worst case, it's like 2 mins out of the film. So who cares?

what's annoying is that if the movie/series that taylor swift is in becomes a financial success, the mcu sheeps will be like "this show is the best mcu show ever because it reached $1 billion". in reality, we know that financial success doesn't mean the movie is actually good. it just means that taylor swift fans flocked in the cinemas just because taylor is in the show.

I hope Sam Raimi stays far away from Marvel as humanly possible and goes back to indie filmmaking and finally make another original movie that he personally also directs and writes! Doctor Strange MoM was not a Sam Raimi movie! His last true movies were Drag Me to Hell and Oz the Great and Powerful!

Funny thing is while social media keeps saying "X-mEn 97 Is SaViNg ThE mCu", it hasn't even beaten "Echo" in viewership numbers, at least from what've heard lately & we all know how well "Echo" went... Yeah, X-Men ain't saving the MCU in any capacity

I want Deadpool to kill the MCU! Not save it! I hope he and Hugh don’t pull any punches, and they better poke fun of everything! And I mean everything! One off jokes like Antman and Kevin Feige aren’t gonna cut it. There’s needs to be way way way way way more! You can’t be soft! I mean, you even said Swift is one of the biggest pop stars around; she has the pull, both from fans and haters. Any conversation about her is money in the bank. I don't think its desperation, more like a business plan. I think her concert series is on Disney+ too. So again, makes sense. I'm not a fan of hers in the least, but her existing in the MCU doesn't bother me. She'll probably give a phoned in performance of her self but in a costume and the movie will move on. As someone who watched the 90s X-Men cartoon with you, did you watch the new series? I haven't because I don't have disney+. But Im curious what you think of it since it was our Saturday mornings. I have heard a lot of good things about it, and of course the usual "it's woke!" dissent.

According to mainstream media, Taylor Swift changed your last presidential elections - so Disney likely sees it as a great business move...when it comes to general audience - Swift's Eras tour made a giant load of money, so is dumb enough to follow her. And its not like the same GA currently clearly knows what it wants - most movies barely make any money/profit, even the good ones, so imo the time has come for a break for movies. That however will never happen 'cause moneeey ! so I don't see the future of entertainment being too bright but MCU might eventually make some profit of her if it becomes true - though it will be hilarious AF :D

@@REELSHIFT yep. Tom Holland is overrated. No offense but never liked his portrayal nor really cared for his films. They were decent at the time but they are just mediocre and not true cinema. Sam Raimi’s trilogy and Marc Webb’s first movie were more cinema films than the MCU content. I’m ready for another interpretation of Peter Parker that’s not part of the MCU nor the past. And let the creative/director of a 4th reboot have full creative freedom like Matt Reeves and Todd Phillips have for their films.
