This is his biggest contract he will get and when he see what Saguan get he will be upset, Jerry won because this is peanuts compared to other sports and what QBs make, he is still 8-12m behind QBs and he has a skilled position, he got good money don’t get me wrong but I would have negotiated more and gotten one more year added, Zeke better stay clean outside the stadium because they will cut him quickly

In the game of life there's winners and losers so let's take a look. Ezekiel got 50 million guaranteed 5 million more than what Gurley was guaranteed so he got what he wanted but Jerry got what he wanted as well because essentially jerry can get out of the contract after 4 years so the numbers are actually 12 and a half million a year not the money that Gurley is receiving annually nor what bell is receiving.

In a couple years Zeke wont even be the highest paid, but Jerry will still have the most valuable NFL team. Zeke did better than he should have but there's no way a player beats an owner

Zeke won this round, but Jerry has the inside scoop on the new CBA. He knows the salary cap is about to skyrocket with all the new revenue streams, such as gambling and streaming TV. So Jerry can overpay so long as he can stretch out the deal. If Patrick Mahomes comes up for renewal under the new CBA, his numbers will be STAGGERING.

It's not a guarantee that running back wages are going up in the future. 8 years ago Adrian Peterson made more per season than any of these running backs are making today. So Zeke did just fine here.

Jerry has them all fooled. That highest paid RB contract has outs for Dallas thru entire length of contract. It basically works out to be 4 year 48 mill contract. If Zeke gets suspended he doesn't get paid and its no hit on Cowboys salary cap (most of his guarantees $ is in roster bonus & salary). The signing bonus was low at $13 mill. This is a "stay out of trouble and be on active roster" to get paid contract. Gives Zeke bragging rights with higher guaranteed that Gurley but Cowboys have major wiggle room in this contract.

What are these fools talking about Zeke signed a 6 year $90 million dollar contract extension with $45 million guaranteed. If Zeke can last 8 years his total contract will be worth around $103 million dollars. Even if he don't make it the full 6 years he will still walk away with $45 million in guaranteed money. Zeke came off the field limping in the rams playoff game, I think this was the best time for him to make this move and he won. This season is the cowboys best chance to make it to the Superbowl and Jerry know it can't be done without Zeke. Witlock, Marcellus, and Brooks stop it you NFL spokesmen and haters ! Now Zeke, take it to the bank !
