This was nice. We had someone trying to use vaults to despawn the black ice mobs. Well we ended up destroying 3 of his vaults. I sure hope he got the message.
you can also create explosions using gas orbs and demonfire orbs. The more gas orbs you stack the bigger the explosiuon will be. I found around 4 gas orbs is enough to break the shell on starmetal nodes. I've not tested on a vault yet but I will soon.
But wouldnt the same argument still apply? When people have enough grease orbs and demon orbs so that they can destroy my vault, they can also burn down the structure surrounding the vault....
i know this is outdated so additional info here: T4 alcemist(named mob) will reduce the cost of steelfire from 75 to 50 if u wanna go for explosives. also at this point im not sure if burning a vault is possible
It is still possible to burn a vault down but it has been severely nerfed. There seems to be a limit to number of stacks of grease orbs that can be applied. I haven't tried it to completion but just looking at the max fire damage and calculating how long it would take, it is now roughly 3 hours. So grease orbs to destroy vaults is not worth it anymore.
You could get way more damage in if you toss one grease orb then light it. It takes 30 seconds to burn out. Using the first one as a pilot light allows you to get more burn for your buck. As long as your tossing, that fire will burn. Unless I'm getting confused with ark. I've been playing them back to back for the last few months! I'm old a.f. and my memory ain't what it used to be! ;)
Took you about 34 seconds between the first grease orb breaking and the demon fire breaking. Would the first (or second) grease orb have expired by then?
Golden Gonzo exactly... And the third one expired a couple seconds later, completely wasted 2-3 stacks. Also... If the effect stacks then why not just throw one, light it, and then throw every orb your have? His logic here makes no sense.
ryan day this is exactly what I came to the comments for. I was like am I missing something? Why not just keep stacking it to 100+ and it would be over quick.
this stacking method was patched also, and explosives are a must if the people were smart and put their vaults under water. explosives are certainly the way to go. a clan of 10 can literally farm up 2,000 bombs in a day easily. honestly no base is safe. ive just moved over to a PVE conflict server. its annoying getting raided every day. if you're not the alpha clan, your just wasting your time and basically farming for the alpha clan when they eventually decide to take your stuff. i wont be playing PVP again unless i have a group of like 20 friends. a group of 4 guys cant achieve fighting off a big alpha clan. the alphas on my server were not benevolent dictators lol, they just raid everyone mercilessly.
@@Big-Government-Is-The-Problem you can do nothing against top clan alone, but it doesn't matter you can't survive even solo. Some top clans used to attack everyone, so they have more enemies 2.
Get an alchemist thrall. You need crystal to make glass. Crystal can be found in some caves. Put glass in the furnace along with a glass flask mold made in your blacksmith bench. Fill up flask with water. Make a shellfish trap and put handfuls of insects you get from bushes to attract shrimp. When you cook shrimp a by-product is created called Ichor. Use ichor and water flask to make a Water Orb. Tar and WO makes greasy orbs. Volatile glands and WO makes fire orbs and mushrooms and WO makes gas orb. Good luck, its a lot of farming and the Orbs themselves are actually pretty heavy.
Question : I just started playing Conan Exiles on PS4. So my question is there a way to make a wall and gate to a castle so it can’t be penetrated or would take like massive amount of explosives to bring down?
