@@InsertGoodName1 bhaay wo maraye humme kya!! Usne to damage kar diya jo karna tha. ChatGPT is not AGI. AGI is comming for every job that can be done on computer. 🙅♂🙅♂ Hum to gye.
It's a great game. Although I want Androids in real life, I don't want to see deviancy among Androids. But with AGI, Androids will keep evolving and perhaps reach our level of consciousness
@@architbhagat The development of AGI does raise important ethical and societal considerations. Ensuring responsible and beneficial use of advanced AI technologies is crucial. It's important to have ongoing discussions about the implications of AGI to ensure its deployment aligns with human values and safety.
AGI will not be synthesized by private players. Such a strategic technology will be born in Military Labs with infinite funding...! All major technologies are born from warefare..!
That's not true anymore, now it's the private companies like this that get basically infinite funding, and the government just contracts with them for the products. The commercial profit is much greater than any military contracts.
@@forquat you are correct, but it's spread out over such a giant operation that they don't have large piles of money to invest in secret projects anymore. Back when they were the leading innovator, it's because there were National Security causes that they could get money from Congress for, kind of like the Space Race, Moon landings, or the SR71 to spy on Russia, etc. Then as all the military contractors got established through that process, and the Cold War ended, and the free market started demanding technology, now they build stuff for sale, because they can make many billions more dollars on the free market, than they can selling to the military, plus, whatever they develop for the free market, can also be sold to the military. Generally the only areas where the military is the main customer is weapons, and even there most of what's developed to sell to the military is developed by private industry, and also sold to other nations. The US does very little in house R&D anymore, especially not on things like AI. Even the national research laboratories are generally working in partnership with the private industry and sharing breakthroughs.
@@forquat And that purse gets spent on the private companies they contract to do RnD. The military industrial complex became primarily corporate after WW2.
My Guess is Microsoft is Currently the highest Stake Holder For Openai a company with which your company has partner are answerable to founders only this brings Microsoft to kick out the founders and acquire openai and completely install it's services in Microsoft based products as Microsoft now wants to replace the largest Tech Player Like Google and Others and Dominate the market as it did in 1980 with Apple
I wonder if companies are really planning on cutting down jobs due to AGI. Who is going to use/buy your products when there is no economic activities? I expect nothing but economic collapse.
What is the natural consequence of capitalism? Think of Monopoly: In the end there is only one who owns everything. And when that "everything" is digital, intelligent, self-sufficient and all-enconlassing, (including infrastructure and humans), then you are the master of the world. At that point you don't need anybody anymore to buy your products.
@@OezgeSebisterithat’s wrong. Economy is not that simple. There has to be people who are willing to spend on your products. Everything is connected, from small farms to large industries, and people who do jobs in industries play major roles in circulation of cash/money through the system. We get paid so we can spend, bcuz we spend someone gets paid, cycle continues. The more we spend the more we get paid eventually cuz economy booms and there is more cash in the system
@@hiteshjambhale301 it is that simple. If everything thatt humans do can be replaced by a self-sufficient, self-learning digitally fueled machine or infrastructure that even plows the field and produces food then there is no need for the act of selling-buying anymore. AI is a powerful intellect on steroids yet in my personal opinion humans are much more than that and will continue to rule the world in different ways beyond the intellect.
AGI is 10-20 years away. I do think he has source code Microsoft does not. Let’s see if this comes out with rumor that Standard might be the new leader.
So in short AI has reached its all time peak and there is no way to contain it now. Very Excited and Scared as i am a student and dont know how this will affect the job market.
@@itikboiusec2138what makes you think that jobs like electrician, plumber wont be automated? India mein time lagega but kabhi na kabhi toh automation hoga hi
I think there are 2 possibilities- 1. Sam Altman was too close to create AGI which was not safe and you know causing some harm to humanity. 2. OpenAI have the intention to create a dangerous AGI just to push them ahead in the tech race. Because they have tasted success for the first time after ChatGPT. In this mission, Sam Altman was stopping or preventing them. I think the latter has more possibility because Sam alone can't create that dangerous AGI.
AGI should be a highly classified technology and the engineers who worked on it should be sent to a prison in North Korea. It is equivalent of nuclear technology in the 40s & 50s.
Why the fuck I care some billionaire lost his job...he still be a billionaire & got another job within a day.... As an Indian I care about what happens in india & our current affairs.. Varun is like my cousin lost a job 😂
