LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers opted not to part ways with Russell Westbrook at the trade deadline, choosing instead to keep future assets rather than attaching them to Westbrook to dump his salary. Despite currently sitting in ninth in the West, the Lakers are reportedly quote: 'not ready to pull the ripcord on that Russell Westbrook experiment... they feel like the team, the coach, the coaching staff, everybody has not done enough to say this isn’t going to work. Russell Westbrook is a future Hall of Famer. There are different ways that he can be used.' Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe share whether they accept LeBron's Lakers moving forward with Russ or not.

AD get 34 & 15 Lakers lose LeBron gets 40 Lakers lose Russ goes 10-15 with 1 turnover.. Lakers lose. Poor FT shooting, poor defense and unforced turnovers are the biggest reasons LA is under 500. It's not about 1 player but Russ bad is REALLY bad.

LEBITCH the reason why. The first year he was feeding him the ball. That's why he was the assist leader. Now LEBITCH is hogging the ball more taking way more shots so AD is not really in the flow of game

Skip Bayless's lack of appreciating first round picks is what gave Detroit the 2nd pick in 2003 to possibly draft Carmelo, Wade or Bosh after they built their contending team for Otis Thorpe in trade years prior. Its also what allowed the Lakers to draft James Worthy in 1982 as the number 1 pick after winning the title. Its also what the Mavericks did to build their contender in the 80s by ripping off Ted Stepien for his first round picks. Know your bball history Bayless. This is why teams are hesitant to trade future first rounders especially an old team like the Lakers that will have to rebuild soon.

The worst hands in all of basketball is such a blasphemous statement. They are prisoners of the moment. Westbrook used to have one the best body controls in proportion to his explosion when he was in his prime. Watched his entire MVP season. The control he had of the ball and the whole team was amazing. The only reason he lost in the 1st round that year was because everytime he left the floor they made no plays and lost the whole lead. Now he is past his prime, any fan can see it but he is keeps telling himself he can still do it and it's a problem
