I feel like it could be really interesting/fun to ask your followers for a day-in-the-life to follow and then select three to try. either intentionally or randomly select. there's such a predictable trend to celebrity diets/routines. it could be interesting to reflect on an "average" person's routine.

Abby- You might have done one of these but it would be nice to see a no nonsense video on supplements. Selfishly I would really like an over 40 one, your body changes in your forties and it is overwhelming how many supplements are out there and difficult weeding through what would really helps and what is pointless.

Abbey usually stays away from anything related to women 40+. It is honestly shocking she covered Aniston. Notice she makes no mention of perimenopause or menopause. Any time she does a Live and I ask, she ignores it. It is so disappointing that she claims to support women but only does for certain age groups.

Let’s debunk the myth that people turn into a pumpkin after whatever age.. my mother climbed mountains and worked surgeons hours after 60 and never once I heard her say she is confused about what supplements are “legit”. Get a meaningful life, you’ll forget what year it is.

Oh my Gosh! I have never realised how Abbey excludes women over 40!! Maybe that’s just not the demographic she’s trying to appeal to!! Although I’m sure all the young girls and women who watch her have mothers/grandmothers etc. However, as a menopausal woman myself, I certainly don’t feel the need (or have the energy or wellbeing) to be climbing any mountains and I think it’s important we say that’s ok too.

Love the videos! So many great ideas/combinations to incorporate into my diet. I definitely like some of the combinations you use in the smoothies. I haven't used hemp hearts, but I put alittle flax in my smoothie yesterday and it was not great. LOL. But experimenting can be fun :) One of my favorites I make has spinach, blueberries, vanilla protein powder, almond milk (unsweet vanilla), and like a tablespoon of dry cheesecake pudding mix (SF). Gives it just alittle extra something. Depending on how hungry I am, sometimes I will have some toast with almond butter for some extra carbs and healthy fat. I've started buying frozen fruit because I realized as a single person I was wasting so much fresh produce. It's an amazing hack to save time and money.

Being neurodivergent, I kept dealing with salad greens going bad before I could finish them or I'd be bothered by the texture when packing a lunch for work. On a whim I bought a huge bag of shredded collard greens and started chopping it up and making huge flavor bomb salads for lunch that hold up over night and throughout the day (I eat my lunch in 2 short sittings, that's just what works best for me). And the shreds are so tasty in wraps too. It last so long without going bad so I'll be growing collards in my garden this year

@@lalael5645 I buy a big bag of shredded collard greens for about $3 and then for each salad I make, I chop up the collards really small like 1/4 in squares but I just use my big chef knife to chop it all to bits lol. Hey there! Cacao (or in this case cacao nibs) contains natural stimulants, specifically caffeine. Thus the warning label. The cacao itself isn’t necessarily harmful (it actually has wonderful benefits, hello iron!) but it does contain a small amount of caffeine which has to be limited during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

With intermittent fasting, you're supposed to consume as many calories as you normally would, just within a smaller time frame. I think you should definitely do some research into the studies, which show some very promising insight into DNA and cell health. (Maybe not for you right now, but I feel that people might think you've just completely debunked intermittent fasting based on the comments you've made here; pretty misleading in my humble opinion). Also, I love your format, it's casual, down to earth, and very cute. Love the sass as well 🤣

Agreed. I do a version of intermittent fasting.14-16 hours. I do have coffee with some half and half in it but it's is less than 50 calories. Probably 20-40. All I can say is that my digestion is about 10,000 times better. No gas or bloating anymore. I FEEL so much better than when I eat as many times a day as she does in the video. But, everyone is different.

Question: wouldn’t you get more protein overall if you just make regular porridge and fried the whole egg on the side? More protein by eating the yolk too.

All the cholesterol is in the yolk.

Collagen powder is really cheap compared to other sources of protein. I think it is easy to digest too? Older adults aren't as good at digesting ANYTHING, so it might be more helpful in that respect. Collagen powder isn't a complete protein though.

How about adding some cottage cheese on top of the oatmeal? Or mix in some protein powder? I've been struggling with the protein part on hunger crushing combo, so I've thought about these things a lot too.

Plain greek yogurt and nut butter

Silken tofu, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, nuts, seeds, nut/seed butter, neutral-tasting beans, protein powder. You can also just have something you like on the side, like a breakfast sausage. It doesn't have to be in the same dish to be part of the same meal.
