DIY Fall Wood Door Sign Using your Cricut 

In this tutorial I will be showing you how to successfully make a Fall Door Hanger! First is tape of about half of your wood and use stain of your choice. Let dry about 30 minutes. Remove tape as soon as you are finished. Then re-tape just over the stain line and paint the bottom half with acrylic paint of your choice. Let dry 30-60 minutes. Then use a seal of your choice to seal the stain and wood. I used a thin coat of polycryclic. Let dry 30-60 minutes. Design your letters and leaf in Cricut design space. Cut them out, weed them and apply them to your sign. I use permanent vinyl but it is possible to use HTV on wood just be careful not to burn it. No need to seal over your permanent vinyl. Sometimes sealing over vinyl can cause the glue to no stick anymore. So caution if you choose to seal over permanent vinyl. I drilled two small holes and strung string to make a hanger. Then make your bow! I used corn which I got at dollar tree. Using hot glue gun I glued my corn and bow. These fonts are for personal use unless you purchase the license.
