DIY Make Your Own Joss Incense Sticks And Coils (Incense Magick Ep 012) 

I've always built my own.

Where I live we have than kind of board to shape gnocchi. I bought it at walmart.

Probably the simplest approach would be to add a few drops of essential oil to a coil. Use an eye dropper or small paint brush to spread the oil over the entire surface of the coil. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes before burning. I recommend you not use DPG or any oils that contain it. Lots of people recommend it and lots of people are wrong, lol.

@@IncenseDragon I've got a fragrance oil with a dripper tip (dunno if that's what it's actually called but I'm sure u get my drift lol) that I ran around my coil gently n it's soaked in well n I'm just waiting for it to dry before lighting. My container of coils has 2 coils that are intertwined together n you need to separate them before burning. But, I was thinking, if I was to put them (without seperating)all out flat on some kind of tray could I use a spray bottle to spray them with fragrance in bulk n then leave them to dry? My issue tho is that what could I mix the oil with to make enough of it to put it in a spray bottle? Does this make sense LOL

@@MrsGump i'd suggest alcohol as a carrier for essential oil if you want to spray, it should just evaporate out after a while... but i think adding a couple of drops as-is would be alright

Certainly it can be, but it is a lot more challenging then tabu. Thousands of incense makers in India make incense using joss powder and splits, but it requires more skill and practice.
