Watch this video before flying your drone to make sure that your drone's IMU is up to date and calibrated.
Learn to keep your drone shock-resistant by being less clumsy and using a pelican case, and remember to calibrate the IMU if you haven't been flying your drone in a very long time.

Thanks for sharing this very critical info i have never calibrated the IMU since almost a year now with a lot of long distance bus and train travelling and have flown numerous hours and still the IMU shows its normal is it necessary to calibrate it?

Good question. If you are confident it hasn’t been through bumpy and rough terrain you should be fine. Again, the common saying is don’t fix it it it ain’t broken right? So as I mention in the description above, make sure you do a lot of your own research on drone safety topics like this one!

This is not a dispute, but I just read the M2P user manual C2C and there is NOTHING about this. If this is so important, why does the manufacturer recommend it?

Hey, thanks for your question. It is important, in my opinion,, for pilots to have precise readings of the drone's body's specific force, angular rate, and orientation of the body. Especially as a licensed RPAS pilot.

Hello ! Would you please tell me why my drone won't finish the calibration ... I do all the step, but went it come to the final ( Calibration information colleted, Calibrating ... ) Calculating ... window always stay at Zéro ( 0 ), even if it said that it could take 1 minute ... still the same after 10 minutes, and never I can get it full. Thank

Good video...can you keep your propellers on during the process of the process of calibrating the IMU ?

Yes you can! But I wouldn’t recommend it just because when you turn on the drone the motors are going to move a little bit and therefore the propellers on the surface are going to create resistance on the motors and you don’t want that!

You can use the skip buttons 😂 I like to inform people of why they’re doing what they’re doing before they’re doing it. That’s how I personally learn the best.
