It comes at a cost but you can download and print your business plan once you are done and then cancel your membership. Hi Paris. Thanks for all of the helpful, wonderful videos. I really appreciate them. I wanted to know, when testing, what size and or type of vessels should you use? The regular vessels are going to be heavy with the wax in them & I will be mailing them out to family & friends so it's going to be expensive I'm sure. And how many people should you give samples to for each fragrance? Thanks!
You are so welcome! 😊 I recommend you test with the exact materials you plan to sell. Otherwise your testing will be a wasted effort. The candles will not perform the same, guaranteed. Even your fragrance throw will be off because for a smaller vessel you will have to wick down. If you want to save on shipping I would recommend creating your Shopify site, add the shipbob app and create a code for family and friends so they will not have to pay for shipping or the candle. Only give the code to family and friends. Don’t make it automatic. This way, when they go to order the candle you will receive a shipping discount and the product will still be free for them. I would stick to 1 -2 candles if you are just testing the way one wick burns compared to another. Use the same fragrance and wax for both candles and have them send you pics and videos. Also with the candles you send to friends and family, put a sheet in the package so they can write things down such as how long the candle burned, was there soot present, how high was the flame, was the hot and cold throw strong, etc. once you find the proper wick and wax to fragrance ratio you can then start sending them the different fragrances you plan to use.
