I LOVE the labeled brick visual. That’s an awesome way to literally put it all out on the table. I’m going to create a few of my own to look upon and process, then present them to my husband. I’m also going to give him a few blank ones for him to mull over and finally put a word to some grievances of his own. (We’re working on our communication, as I was severely depressed, he is conflict and emotionally avoidant, and there were many years where we barely spoke - esp about anything below the surface.)

If they cheat once, they're capable of doing it again. If she told him that she'd leave him if he did it again and he does it again and she stays, he knows that he can get away with it now. She deserves better! I'm glad John clarified it's not the girl who put them in a financial hardship it was her husbands fault. Nobody should go to work feeling uncomfortable.

You know, forgiveness does not equal reconciliation. If you need to divorce him, then do it. But forgive him because forgiveness is for you, so that you can move forward in your life whole and healed. Forgiveness does not mean that you need to reconcile with him. The question shouldn’t be, Should I forgive? Because the answer will always be, Yes! What the question should be is, Should I reconcile with him?

Second call John's in Ken Coleman mode. The guy knows where his love is. John's trying to convince they guy he can make work passionate Every Sunday we give ourselves this pep talk. Music is his love and i bet the guy never has to talk himself into embracing it. My advice is keep his pulse on his music. My friend wanted to be a musician. He didn't get to play concert halls. But you probably heard his music as a score for a lor of TV Shows. You never know. ❤

We had to go to MI. 😂 for real. But glad we did. Opportunities abound here and Up North is so so so beautiful!!!! I habe a new side hustle as a nature photog. It's cool. My man has his 9-5 and started our farm business like a couple months ago and already landed his top choice client! It's amazing. It's good for us. It's worlds better than CA where he left a wake of at least 1 side gal. Worth it. Michigan solves things.

I feel like I’m living in a bad dream prepping for the absolute worst inflation. Almost bought a generator for 2500$. That’s a lot of money for me. I’ve been alone about 20 years so nice no drama no one telling me what I m supposed to be doing

The life insurance doesn't go to his exwife if he dies. It goes to support his children because his support stops when he dies. You can't just drop off your kids and pick up someone else's ready made family.

For Patrick, the sales job isn’t for him. He may not believe in the product or it could be cutthroat. Continuing people pleasing behavior, and a voice that contains a huge amount of anxiety, with that kind of a job is a soul killer. “Adult jobs” are a farce and a delusion. People can find a passion that pays. I’d do some self analysis and get to know yourself, write it down and go from there.

I really feel bad for this lady but it’s clear that her husband is a complete narcissistic jerk - what a reason to be fired !? Terrible situation. Sorry lady but he’s not going to change but I understand the thought of divorce is terrifying.but it’s not fair she’s been put in that situation. Although my divorce 7 years was excruciatingly painful, I have so much peace in my life now away from all of the nonsense. Lady, he’s gonna cheat again and again - get shot of him 😢

I'm 72 and I feel stuck, overwhelmed and very unhappy in a dissolving marriage with a 78 year old man who has early cognitive design and CMT (a neurological condition without a treatment or a cure .) We are seniors on a fixed income and could not afford two households. I am starting therapy soon to cope with my feelings and loses and have hope he go to marriage counseling after that. He can talk but he does not talk to me as he sit and plays on his phone and laptop all day long. He offers nothing to our marriage or to me personally. I know that you cannot change your spouse but WHAT can I expect from him?

It seems so many people feel good about having kids as a distraction from c It seems many people feel good about having kids as a distraction from confused chaotic lives and marriage. Kids are amazing, bright energy sources to distract from One’s inner darkness. It takes wise, mature adults to raise sane, confident children. Please work out your own issue’s and have a stable, joy-filled marriage. It’s far easier to create new humans than to fix broken adults. Will your children grow up to struggle, be lonely, marry the wrong person,never have fufillment? That’s on the parent who was too lost and exhausted to infuse their children with love, life skills, and wisdom. Peace. ❤
