I got the 3 inch rough country kit and I have the 1.5 in coil spacer on mine and run 35’s and that does the truck go the most part and looks a lot better
just gonna have to addd a lil more lift to larry get coil springs it the next thing i’m doing i’ve got a spindle lift and coil spacer so far i’m about to add 2 more inches with rough country coil springs
I have a 10thgen too and i am currently running 33x12.50r20 on just a 2 inch leveling kit and it used to rub bad but i just had to make some cuts and now it doesn’t
I’m running 3.5 lift spindles with 2 inch lift coils not coil spacers and aftermarket shocks. I had 3 inch lift coils but delt with some camber so dropped to 2 and got camber bolts aligns like a champ. I clear 12 wides on 33s no problem. Just trimmed the corner on that backside 👌🏼
My father just gave me his f150 he bought it brand new in 1997 and I was looking for a wheel n tire setup that look good and yours is perfect can you tell me the brand name tire and size?
i have 3 in spindles and 2 in lift coils with doetsch upper control arms designed for 2wd lifts with new upper ball joints new lowers and a camber caster kit.... had 3in spindles and 3in spacers w moog rk uppers and i rode the bump stops on the frame
@@lmfscrew it rides fine just make sure u align and u replace ur front end parts, a lil bit stiff but should be fine bc u have the rough country shocks
I have a 99 Silverado 2wd with the 3 inch rough country spindle lift and a 3 inch coil spacer. The coil spacer isn’t actually three inches, the lift ends up being 3 inches though because of the geometry and it gave the tires a ton of positive camber but my truck had the adjustable camber bolts in the upper control arms when I bought it and the alignment shop was able to get it back to perfect with some adjustment left on both sides. Rides decent, but when I first put the coil spacer I blew out both front shocks and had to put bilstein extended lift shocks and once I did that it rode like 10x better. But stacking that lift kits is possible and in the end gave me right at 6 inches of lift. If you want pics lmk
i think the shocks on here should be okay going a little higher because they are the extended ones that come with the lift, one way to find out i guess lol
@@lmfscrew I bought the complete spindle lift from rough country that came with the block and u bolts for the rear and it came with rough country shocks but those wouldn’t fit with the coil spacer because they were to big in diameter which is another reason I got the bilsteins
A 2 inch coil spacer would be enough to not rub at all. Worst thing that could happen is you would need to buy eccentric camber bolts to align the upper control arm. Maybe shock extenders or new longer shocks.
I have the spindle lift and spring Lift spacer......my ride sucks now, upper control arms are maxed , camber is like 3degrees. I’m able to fit used 315/75/16 with Ion Alloy -38 offset 16x10s with minor front bumper lower valence trimming
I have 2003 2wd with 3” rough country spindle lift with 1.5” daystar coil spacer with camber adjustment bolts from “Americantrucks.com” and 5” rough country rear lift block. Will need to get aligned after lift coil spacer. Getting my tires next week. They will be 35 on 20’s
DONT get the 2” lift coils. UCA’s will have a bad angle. Get the Daystar 1.5” coil springs spacer to go higher in the front. That’s about all you can do safely unless you were to buy the 7.5” Fabtech lift. RC shock bushings suck btw so go ahead and replace those with energy suspension 98101 bushings. Also you can change the front bumper, valance and grille to the 99-03 version and run those a bit better. And please for the love of all things good in this world, put the dagum sway bar back on and get a new battery.
Do not get the coil spring spacer you will not be able to get your alignment 100% and will still have a little camber not in less you get the adjustable upper control arms
