Her ruling was not spot on. The guy told her don’t come near. She should have full culpability because he shouldn’t be encumbered to move because she decides to come over anyway. Should he have insulted her so she would leave? She’s an idiot for this situation.

I always tell them my dog is NOT Friendly. And if they persist I tell them I don’t want to see your dog injured. LOL I walk English Bulldogs and one of mine was such a wimp I actually had to call the police for a chihuahua attacking her. I told the police not to laugh. They did. But they could see where the chihuahua bit and punctured her back legs. And I still laugh about it today but that chihuahua was ferocious and an escape artist.

That’s how you feel but both are responsible. And this was a side walk that’s public for anyone to use, both should’ve easily walked with as much distance and control of dogs as possible. The owner of a pit that’s known to be dog aggressive (male or female really doesn’t matter) which majority it seems are period knows better than to allow this meet and greet. The woman should’ve thought about the fact this isn’t her dog and therefore she shouldn’t allow another’s dog to meet hers especially a pit or a bully but she also assumed this owner had control. And she was a bit out of control, obviously not the best person to walk a dog but like many friends do she did. I don’t buy this guy’s lame attempt to claim he begged her to not come close and he admitted himself to allowing it. I’ve had family pits that were great dogs but tended to be dog aggressive so we always assumed the worst would happen to protect others and the dog itself. I have a neighborhood full of pits and bullies or mixes of the two and they are incredibly aggressive toward any other animal and sometimes ppl, their owners aren’t responsible and allow them out or physically can’t control them on leash so I’ve seen good and unfortunately more bad with the breed but more than anything it’s bad or irresponsible owners most of the time.
