So, this isn't a video like any of my others; it isn't a vlog, it isn't a food diary and it's not a day in the life. It is something raw and completely honest. Something which I needed to talk about.
For a lot of us, our eating disorders are our coping mechanisms for certain traumas in our lives. But when we make the brave decision to get better, we often find that we have to begin to face those demons and bad memories again and 'put them to bed' once and for all.
I am incredibly passionate about the effects of domestic violence, and it is another subject, along with mental health, that I feel needs to be spoken about.
If you are in a relationship that is abusive (mentally, physically, emotionally), please know that you deserve so much more and that there is help out there. You are NOT alone.
