I love how the Dark Lord being The Slayer but evil just absolutely pissed him off. And that The Slayer was absolutely ok with and ready to face the army of hell by himself. He probably would’ve preferred it
@@ryanwarner5006No, its just for gameplay. The game would not be fun if you could just rip and tear every enemy and boss in 1 hit. Game doomguy is limited so its actually fun and challenging. If you want a lore accurate game, then download damage modifier mods or smth.
The part when Doom says No is the best, and when they showed the name Doomguy, not Doomslayer like everyone called him show a symbolic meaning: after all those years finally, Doom is himself again, say a word like a human, and reveal his face again, not hiding in helmets anymore.
@@SpicyFiur doomguy is not a demon therefore he would not have perished when the dark lord died. The Maykers just sealed him away again and it's possible he lost his Slayer abilities.
It seems that The Father manipulated the Doom Slayer to kill the Dark Lord so that he may ascend after the DL is dead. In the next game, an aged Intern will wake up the Slayer so that he may defeat the Father.
Lets see, a game who is still ranked a whole year or so later as the highest grossing single player game ever, who managed to out sell every multiplayer only/leaning game and prove that with enough time, effort, base and single player DLC content, that single player games have their place in this market. I think it's safe to say this will get its 3(7?) game.
@@durzoblint6532 Yeah, but where can you go now with Doom 3? They should have just taken these two DLC’s and made them Doom 3 Eternal or something. Why not capitalize on that?
I love how the Sentinels instantly helped out with the "throw the Slayer at enemies" plan and didn't even need an explanation. Felt like they'd done it before.
The odds were so much against the demon army that I pitied them and then the back up arrived, I was like : looks like they'll die an easy death without fear of the slayer this time.
Hovertanks, Space Battleships, Jaegers...did the Doom Slayer combine the might of the UNSC, Galactic Empire, and the Pan Pacific Defense Corps into the ultimate demon-slaying force?
I got such endgame vibes, the army coming from portals, all the demons outside their realm turned to ash, the big hero isn’t technically dead but we aint seeing him for a while
Doomguy isn’t dead. He has to wait until someone opens the sarcophagus again. He was in that before. In the beginning of doom 2016, you start by coming out of a sarcophagus
@@jims7318 And the reason why is that he literally, and I do mean LITERALLY, is too angry to die that hell's only option was to lock him up and throw away the key. I mean this is the sort of anger that would even make Kratos say "Dude, fucking chill mate".
@@durzoblint6532 kratos might have destroyed a pantheon but he literally killed GOD who has the power to destroy creation. Also he has been killing Demons for eons
See...THIS was the epic showdown we were supposed to see in GOT S8. Fire and Ice in all their glory. Also, Doom Slayer's expression when he saw Commander Valen and his peeps come through is priceless. He just realized that he DID actually have homies. RIP AND TEAR.
Personally, he'd be happy in his music studio jamming on some chords inside the Fortress of DooM, then have a fluffy white bunny drag in the Super Shotgun.
10:16 Hell has Laws? lmao. Not a bad effort for a team under quarantine but its a shame about the lackluster writing throughout Eternal. Was really hoping we'd get a backstory to the Fortress of Doom, the Titans, the multiverse, closure for Samuel Hayden and Vega :(
7:58 If someone has ever played Brutal Doom, that was the last mission where you invade Hell. It was so goddamn hard 'cause it's really Brutal, and it was much more fun. This looks so good too.
He truly was a weapon. Through and Through. I'm assuming that's where the 3rd Doom game would start if there is one. Like in Doom 2016, he would wake up once again
What are you talking about, doom guy was created by The Dark Lord as a copy of himself to get revenge on the Khan Makyr’s who sealed him away. The Dark Lord’s image was there first before doom guy.
It kind of started this way with Eternal in the first place, but now Hugo has gone full warhammer with it and yeah, I didn't care for this either. I think it tries to hard to feel like some epic cinematic event when Doom 4 made fun of that sort of thing being in the series.
Great, trading that sweet watchtower for the fucking stone box who's gonna water the plants lol honestly I wasn't impressed outside of the armies engaging each other though, I expected mountains to explode with these two fighting each other. Alas no we just get jump and shoot then a punch and stab also whys Doomslayers eyes so inhuman? Like a bugs
