I have to admit, when I first saw Ferdinand I thought he was gonna be super pompous but damn, he really is a cool dude. I really wanna recruit this guy to the Deer now.

This one is pretty nice. It literally fixes up all their issues. Ferdinand gets to be with someone who can deal with him and support him. Dorothea gets someone who can take care of her who isn't a jerk.

The difference between Lorenz and Ferdinand: when physical work is involved, Lorenz is all like "excuse me! *I* am a noble. This kind of menial task is simply beneath me" and Ferdinand is all like "It is a noble's duty to help in whatever way possible" and will literally jump into the fray

I ship these two so hard. These two feel so canon to me. Not only does he actually exist in her past, playing a role, small as it might have been, but it was also something that truly affected her emotionally. That might be why she fears the idea of growing older and losing everything if she doesn't find someone to settle down with. All because of a misunderstanding. I don't think Ferdinand is someone that would actually glare at Dorothea since his support with Manuela really shows that Ferdinand is one that truly is one to be mesmerized by songs, and he always listened to them when he was a child. So if Dorothea was singing, Ferdinand would definitely be one that would be captivated by it. Him running might have made Dorothea misinterpret his actions and think that him staring at her was him glaring instead.

dorothea: hey...it looks like you had a bit of an accident. Is your hand ok? ferdie: *is wearing gloves*

I think I might be the only one but I kinda ship these two, damn. Dorothea shows big bi energy, especially with the paralogue with Ingrid but her chemistry with Ferdinand is quite undeniable. These two are great together!

Maybe it's just because I'm a huge Ferdinand fan, but the Ferdinand/Dorothea supports, especially the A, stand out to me one of the most memorable series. Not only are they very well done, these convos help show how Ferdinand is one of the most hardworking, earnest, friendly, and principled characters in the game.

This is actually one of my favourite support chains in the whole game. The A support is a particular highlight, and the payoff for the bee comparison was perfectly executed.

The C-Support makes it sound like she's saying "You're a pest" with "You're like a bee", and then once the A-Support comes along, five years later, we learn what she really means. "You were like a bee, attracted to a flower in full bloom." Or rather, "You were shallow, flaky, and materialistic." And she started to see that he was far more genuine and sincere than she made him out to be in her mind, helping her realize just how much she had to let go. The terrible childhood she went through and seeing how two-faced people were clearly had a big influence on her view of the world, making it hard for herself to truly open up as well, while Ferdinand never went through all of that, and only ever tried to be the best person he could be, and basically just learned about what others went through, offering kindness and support. In a way, he actually helps her face that better. TL;DR, this is why I wish there could've still been S-Supports across the board. Some of these Supports just feel like they might as well be marrying. Playing the game, I've even felt that Caspar and Bernadetta seemed cute together.

First they insult Dorothea and then they act all buddy-buddy with her when she's a songstress, don't know whether they're doing that for popularity or because they respect her.

It is an adorable support. But then I realised Dorothea is Ferdinand's Mom in other anime via VAs... Oh Jojo.

Idea for an S-support between these two (only available in the final month of your route): Ferdinand heads to the sauna in Garreg Mach _(it's up the stairs next to the training grounds, but is currently non-functional in-game)_ , and walks in on Dorothea as she's bathing. After an embarrassing moment, the two recall this is how they first met back when they were younger (with Ferdinand seeing Dorothea bathing in a fountain). This time, however, Ferdinand has the courage to tell Dorothea that she is the most beautiful woman he has ever known, both inside and out. He then asks her to marry him once the fighting is over, and she gives him a sincere "I'll consider it" answer, but her tone implies she will answer yes.

I tought Ferdinand was a cool guy, besides his rif raf with Edgelard ( I wrote that correctly)
