I do not think a child is allowed to sign an NDA. Their guardian or parent would have to sign it. So in reality, she’d be signing for her kids to not to tell what goes on in that house. There are some unhappy children in that house. So sad.

Kids being on social media is not considered abuse under the law though (yet anyway). If there was a specific incident of abuse that would fall outside the NDA otherwise I'm not sure what legal standing anyone would have unfortunately. Children can't even sign NDAs so it doesn't even make any sense this talk about them.

I believe it's a large sceptic system for multiple homes in the neighbor hood. She needs to get off it and on city. Her house is 4 bed 3 bath & then they built other "rooms" in basements. I feel so bad for her neighbors

31k is a lot of money but she spent that for Christmas. I don’t think it’s a shared septic system. That’s not up,to code in anyplace I’ve ever done mortgages or property inspections. NY state is especially strict with a lot of things. I can’t see that being acceptable. If they were hooking up to the city, we’d see construction and pipes being laid along their street and property. They need to fix the septic, clean that place up and move to somewhere that has sufficient space and sewage for all of those kids.

Agree with all the comments. She also gives them the soda floats late at night which does not help. Kids with bed wetting usually has something to do medically or stress etc but cutting off time kids could have liquids is a start to help them. I don’t like that she airs out all their info online. She uses everything g as content and thinks she’s getting points for tolerating it when she should just be a mom. She needs to stop doing videos and be present in all the kids lives. Too many kids to even have time for one or two with all her videos. She doesn’t see that her kids are crying for attention

She said something like it made it look homey. No. It looks old and dirty. We built a new house with our young adult daughter because she said in 20 years if you want to sell, it will not look outdated as the other houses we’ve been looking at that needed renovation.

Recent one was awesome, then we go to the kitchen the cabinets are in poor condition and are outdated and it’s painted horrible colors through out. @@Weatheredstorms1 that’s why we built. We picked out our own canniest,, granite backsplash and it’s beautiful. I couldn’t settle on an outdated kitchen knowing how much it cost to update them. Kitchens and the master bedroom, bath and closet are the deal breaker for me. I also need a place for my kids to go away from me. They’re in college but chose to go to school locally and not deal with the roommate thing and all of the wasted money. We looked for 2 years. My daughter was so right about this house and me trying to fit us into,so,etching more traditional when I wanted updated and new. Best of luck to you!

This is true. My aunt and uncle's septic system was so bad, when you flushed a toilet in their house, the backyard "burped", and there were patches you didn't want to walk on. My aunt would pour Rid-X down the toilet. This was in Massachusetts. They couldn't afford to get it fixed. After my uncle died, my aunt needed to move here to be closer to my cousin, but it was not legal to sell the house unless the septic was fixed. My cousin and her husband loaned her the money and she paid them back when the house sold (Cape Cod, so she got a lot for it.) I live in Monroe County as do the Doughertys, and NY is very strict about things like this. I'm sure they're not up to code, on this and many other things.

A house doesn't need to pass inspection to sell. It undergoes inspection to reveal issues and it's up to buyers to decide if they want to purchase or not. It would kill their selling price but it doesn't black list it or anything.

@@elizabethwidlund3859 yep! I am on Cape Cod and my father and brother in laws are septic inspectors, people try to bribe them to pass theirs ALL THE TIME! There are legal avenues people can take, but the bottom line is, you definitely can't sell without a legal fix or contractual solution. For example, my oldest daughter is a real estate agent (Cape Homes by Annabelle Rose) and her last sale was with a failed system but her agency works closely with a specific contractor who was willing to get it up to grade and wait for payment until the closing took place and it all worked out.

Well, if she were to fix the septic system her content would suffer. No more trips to the laundramat and all that entails.

Home remodeling could be content. Doing laundry at home could be content. Teaching viewers how to do certain things is content. Calling out child exploiters is content.

Bc they don't want to spend 30k for a system large enough for the number of occupants they have. They need a home with city water.

Sometimes there isn’t a ton u can do, i’m not commenting specifically on Alicia‘s circumstances with her child, because I don’t know those specific circumstances, but I can tell you that in my experience as a physician, and having a best friend who has foster kids who are in late adolescence, and still wetting the bed every single night having had another close friend to child with the same problem I can tell you there not always much you can do other than a lot of laundry and frequently replacing sheets and clothes. You know and these kids have been to see a urologist they’ve been to see a psychiatrist there in therapy, etc. and so forth but it can stem from developmental delays, and or trauma, and or behavioral issues. And my one friends child finally outgrew it and got better with it. He’s an adult now but these other kids they’re definitely going to struggle with it. It’s not getting better anytime soon like I said there’s not much you can do specially, if they’re doing it at night it’s the kids doing it during the day I would say that’s definitely more of a behavioral issue and the kid may just be so developmentally delayed that he will never be in control of his bodily functions in which case he should be wearing attends all the time. And become accustomed to toileting, and using the bathroom that way and getting cares that way.

@@sandrah6426 I don’t think any of our houses could withstand internet scrutiny, but you have to agree that with 12 kids, and all the germs that come with them, Alicia should be vigilant with her cleaning so they don’t all pass germs, virus, etc to each other. Not to mention, improper handling of raw food and the sickness that can cause. Also Josh always makes the offer that if the “family vloggers” take their children off their channel, he will take his videos of them OFF his channel. It’s as easy as that. @torakfett3351 mobile home parks sure. Not private residence. It also would have had to be inspected in 2018 when they bought the home. Any plumbing business reputable would not pass it like that. No private residence would or could share septic. Again unless it's a mobile home park.
