Alicia, if your children are ruining their coats at school, here’s an idea. Teach them not to ruin their things and how to look after their coats.

I struggle to store 4 winter coats. Where is she putting FORTY?! 🤣

She could open her own "free goods" shop to give away everything her kids never touched. She claims to help kids and families in need, giving away hundreds of thousands of dollars of things that less fortunate parents would LOVE to give their kids, would actually help families around her...she could help families in every state around her with all she buys.

This is what drives me crazy about Alicia. She clearly has the money to buy them nice things. Like spending 7 grand on one child’s birthday presents. But she shops at wholesale places for their clothes? Spend less money on junk toys they won’t use, and spend more money on their clothes that will last more than a year and can be passed down to the younger kids.

She spent my whole paycheck on clothes. I have three kids and haven’t been able get myself under clothes in years 😂I’ve been wearing my husband’s winter jacket for over five years.

I don’t understand where she puts all of this stuff she buys?!?!? I have a large house and we are busting at the seams and we only shop when absolutely necessary, and at least twice a year we donate car loads of things.

It’s making me sick the way she’s destroying all the hard work these employees do to keep everything neat. She is so selfish! Doesn’t matter how much you’re spending in a store- you don’t do this to the isles - who’s putting everything back in it’s place? Not LUSH This would make a GREAT pre Christmas present - like the present you open on Christmas Eve ..or even on thanksgiving. She just buys - to buy. This is why they don’t appreciate ANYTHING

I went through all of our winter gear and made sure each family member had a nice set of gloves and a hat. Donated any outgrown items to the school for kids who come without and tossed ruined and mismatched items. Replaced only what was needed. That is how you outfit kids for winter.

Once they are old enough to pick stuff out, I think it is important for kids to pick stuff out. Then they are aware of it, have ownership of it, and some responsibility. She should definitely give the older kids a budget and let them choose if she has the means.

Her kids are old enough to want to pick their own clothes. Also teenagers don’t wear proper coats. And we get a bad winter as well.

Has anyone ever confirmed if she keeps all this stuff and that’s why she ends up having to buy something new every year? I think besides the toys and stuff she probably ends up returning clothes she buys without the kids being there. There’s no way ALL the kids are going to like HER choices.

I needed this tonight! Things have been hard, have another big coming up and I’ll have to be away from my baby and fur baby. These videos always make me smile, even on hard days. Alusha makes me so crazy. I don’t understand why people want to watch her spend an obscene amount of money. My dad grew up oldest of 7 and they used all of their stuff until it was literally falling a part, being youngest meant you were getting stuff in it’s last leg! I am in LOVE! When I’m in the hospital I wear beanies a lot over my mess of hair. I wish I had the extra money to get one of those beanies to wear, I can only imagine what the nurses would say. It’s actually a great conversation started to talk to people and raise awareness about these family vloggers exploiting their kids! Alusha is in a category all her own! I’m all for thrifting and hand me downs in good condition. I have three kids and only my daughter has two as it was gifted and a dress coat for church. Who has room for 24-36 coats? We wash and reuse as much as possible. Climate terrorism and wastefulness should not be a flex 🤦🏼‍♀️

I ALWAYS got hand-me-downs. Winter gear from my brother, church peeps, last season's designer clothes from the rich people mom housecleaned for, which was the most exciting! And having to keep my jeans from grandma's hands or else they'd be hemmed and the rips patched 🥺😳 NANA you SOB, I used my hostessing money to buy them like that!

My son will be wearing my daughter’s hand-me-down snow pants because she now fits in mine and I don’t think we got enough snow in the last three years for her to wear hers more than once. They are grey and will be fine for my son. I could go buy them new everything, but I don’t. And that’s why I’ll be able to help send them to college.

DCP - Josh is right. And Alicia is describing the 4 -1 coat that is converting for all seasons. It has a fleece liner that zips out. It also has a rain shell for spring rains. It has hoods that fold inside the collars. It is supposed to be converted for all 4 seasons. There are zip ties with toggle buttons to adjust them. That cost more but last longer when they are taken care of. Alicia is not looking at the 4-1 coats. Alicia buys the cheap puffy coats again. Last year, the cheap matching puffy coats Alicia purchased fell apart less than a month later. Fun Fact. Bob Gregory a weather forecaster in my area built up a Coats for Kids drive to encourage recycling the winter coats and gear. You donate and they dry clean. Then they have distribution at our state fairgrounds every fall. There is no need to throw out winter coats and stuff. Save that from the landfill and help a child in need have a winter coat. They need to do it every where.

That was me at Costco the other day! I just wanted a freakin rotisserie chicken. A husband and wife were just dillydallying in front of them all. A worker was trying to get by them also. Finally I was like EXCUSE MEEEEE!! Like moooooove 🐮

LOL my Dad would refer to slow walkers (with or without trolleys), drivers, cyclists as 'Sunday drivers' 😂😂😂 and now they all drive me nuts too, especially in cities in main walking strips or malls or stores, train stations etc.

I’ve had the same snow pants for 23 years! And they are cream color and still in great condition. They’ve been thru years of skiing, snowboarding, playing in the snow, sledding etc. it’s called caring for your things. 23 years is a bit excessive, but definitely not every year unless you gain or lose a ton of weight!

Those oven toys are actually pretty cool. You mix up a packet and put it in a mold to "bake" and when done a stuffed animal that looks and smells like baked goods is inside

Like many have said in the comments before, so many people can't afford groceries and seeing Lush waste money is disgusting!! I couldn't afford to pick up a medication the other day and I know I'm not alone in that.😮

Another idea is the buy the coat/pants whatever it maybe be a size or two bigger so they can have it for more then 1 winter. Less waste.

Personally we have 3 boys within a couple years of each other. The oldest gets the new items usually and then they just keep getting passed down. We also utilize second hand stores like Once Upon A Child and Garage sales and trading with friends with kids. If we buy new it usually cheap cost from Walmart and the kids don't care.

We have a wall of warmth in our town. It’s basically the chain link fence at the elementary school and people start putting coats on it in October. You can trade a coat for a different size or donate coats to those who can’t afford them.

My auntie n uncle had 13 kids. They got large amounts of black mittens and gloves in different sizes if one got list you went to the big box in the hall closet for a mitten. Sometimes they wore two different size mitten or glove lol.

Back in the 70s, a kid needed boots. It was 1976, and we were waiting for a Denver public school bus. It snowed about a bit over a foot. We didn't have boots cause our mom didn't buy us stuff. Most of our stuff was kmart special. Our feet were frozen. I cried all the way home. I had to run warm bathtub water on them. The bus never showed up that day. We were probably out there for an hour or so. Kids didn't get rides.
