sir i have same problem of numbness and pain in my left side of tounge and the are of wisdom teeth removed i have no recovery from 12 months going to end iam very depressed and not able to sleep properly please advise how to get rid from this pain and disability.

Hello Doctor, Today is 5 days post op. I had a dentigerous cyst removal surgery from my left mandible attached to 3rd molar . 48 was removed too during this surgery. There is paresthesia in my left side but its reducing slowly. But along with this, im getting sharp pain and tremendous sensitivity in the teeth of my left side of the mandible(cyst surgery side).... Its too sharp but there's paresthesia prevailent too. Please suggest reasons and remedies. Would be appreciated a lot and I'll be very grateful 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

The same thing is happening to me. It's been more than two months since my right lower wisdom tooth was extracted on March 2, 2024, but I still have numbness and a tingling sensation. I also feel it when I touch the affected area. What should I do? Please guide me

How about just cutting the crown off....my wisdom tooth is decayed on the top, and leaning into the tooth next to it and causing a cavity on the good tooth...My Drs was saying he may just remove the crown instead of taking the whole tooth out..what's your opinion..Im 50 years old and in good health.

I had my wisdom tooth extraction 6 days back. Still now my left jaw line is numb, feels heavy sometimes, tingling feeling at times. And sometimes it pains really bad. Hi, I’m Yadira and I just had the bottom left wisdom tooth removed by surgery, sadly I went to a general dentist (at a private hospital) because my husband had his wisdom teeth removed there like 10 years ago, and he said everything was great… so I thought recommendation and experience was good. So surgery was last Friday, and today is Monday night. Half of my tongue and inner gums are numb, no taste, no heat, no cold. I called the doctor and he wouldn’t answer, only texted “It’s normal, take some b vitamins” and that was it…from the surgery I just remember he said I had some bone on top of the tooth and he had to remove it, also, I barely bled, and then when he was suturing, he pinched something and I started bleeding a lot. Surgery was at 6 pm and I actually bled a little until the next day. I’m still numb, sometimes I feel some tingling but only in the very tip of my tongue. I already had 3 doloneurobion shots and have no idea what else to do ☹️ plus the worst is that I live in Mexico and there’s no way of suing the doctor or anything to avoid this to happen to someone else or to claim anything. What else can I do? I wanna feel and taste again 😢

Hi Dr. Had both my lower wisdom removed about 20 days ago. My lower lip and chin has been numb. My lower front teeth feel like no sensation.I feel the touch, hot/cold sensations, etc. I get a burning sensation and heaviness and then it gradually feels relaxed. Again repeats. I get tingling sensations specially when I go to bed. Have a lot of anxiety and stress. Please give your inputs.

Dentist not telling about the possible risks associated with wisdom tooth extraction when one complication is that nerve injury can be permanent.Isn't the dentist at fault ?

I have removed my wisdom tooth before 15 days , I still have numbness over my left half lip and chin . Also a hard lump between cheek and jawline . Doctor have prescribed to take neurobion forte . I’m really worried because whenever o drink normal water I feel a pain near the extraction area as well as my chin internally makes me feel heavy and most of the time I feel ticked at chin. Important thing is doctor didn’t informed me about this, I asked multiple times. The answer I got was nothing to worry !! Yet I’m getting the same answer . Will the things be ok or this will stay as such ?
