I want to guess that NBC wanted to keep it but move the show likely to 10:30 AM ET/9:30 AM PT and move SALE OF THE CENTURY a half hour earlier, but I'm sure the producers felt WE RATHER END THE SHOW THAN MOVE IT AND LOSE OF CHUNK OF OUR AUDIENCE. Even though the show was #3 in Daytime Game Shows, it was probably one quarter of THE PRICE IS RIGHT's audience.
