You must mean +5 frames of laggy rollback netcode thar benefits spam because the devs are fucking idiots who don't know how to do their job after 25 years of Tekken *snort*
Ah, the return of yolo death fist Paul. The true and tried DSP gameplay of throwing out a forward advancing special move that does half health on hit if it counters something, pretend it's massive skill when he throws it out spraying and praying. Once he ranks to opponents who can punish it, he's going to drop the character/game again. As every Tekken before.
"Once he ranks to opponents who can punish it" Phiel: - That Bullshit! - He just smash button! - No Skill what so ever! - LAGGGG! - Game drop my move!!! - Lack of character knowledge! - snor
You act like DSP's tried and true gaming strategy of finding the cheesiest high damage/attack move or character and spamming it without learning any nuances whatsoever and getting punished for it is somehow new. The dude is such a fucking bum with fighting games he plays characters that do half health in 3 hits as he spams single hits, special moves, and a single flowchart hit string that he NEEDS to spam multiple times per match.
Qcf isn't even a hard input. I'd like to see him do a wavedash/electric input. I don't think those are particularly hard to pull off either (not after some practice, anyway) but when you're in an actual match they can be difficult.
Reminder that Tekken 8 has a feature in which after every match you can rewatch, analyse and replay the match and the game will tell you what you should have done and you can replay specific moments in order to try a different technique or strategy. This would be extremely handy for DSP not only to learn what he did wrong, but learn how to overcome it and even prove his point at times: as since it's computer controlled there'd be no lag which he often claims is the issue. Or whenever he claims that someone is spamming something and he "can't get out of it" and that they character is "broken" he could prove that point by replaying that moment trying various different alternate methods., he could retry various combos he claimed didn't come out and would have beat the person. He has not used this feature at all yet.
Uhh, no you mohrahn, he doesn't have time to do all that bullshit, alright? He's on a busy schedule busting his ass every day of the work week in his office, okay. Sound good? Alright. Okay. *snort*
And he will never will. He knows well he lies and if he uses that feature he will be exposing himself so he won't use it because in his damaged head it is better just to blame the game rather to blame his lack of skill.
@@adrianmartinez8125 Hence why in online shooters his frist priority over anything is to skip the kill cam as quickly as possible because they'll show stuff in slow mo and from other angles and they kill the narrative.
This is a well written comment. Aside from that he is like LTG. They refuse to practice with characters in their spare time or dedicate even a small amount of time in between matches to practice combos. Then they get in matches and blame everything on input lag, this character is broken, the wrong move came out etc.
Phil seems so afraid of sex. Panda would practically complain about Phil never touching her and she wasn’t bad-looking (her personality was definitely unattractive though).
"and he falls for every mix-up" off a win... however...when the shoe drops..."button masher," "lag," and "scrub player"... I'm watching ltg on location in Seattle 😂😂😂
@@kantanenakseli8886 that's the thing. usually you get a compilation of a streamer bitching that spans their entire career. phil gets one per stream if he's not complaining or begging, he's just boring
One of three things happen when Phil plays fighting games 1) Phil destroys his opponent, opponent is either a mouth breather or not familiar with fighting games. Phil talks about how this was a great match. 2) Phil wins but has to work for it. Phil claims that his opponent is spamming or that he doesn't know their character. Phil considers this a bad match for some reason. 3) Phil gets his shit pushed in. No matter what happens here, there is always an excuse. It is never that he was just outmatched. It is always lag abuse, spamming, bad net code or a combination, but never Phil's fault.
When DSP mashes the same combo: "They fell for my perfect mixup" When his opponent uses the same combo: "All they do is mash mash mash! Nothing I can do!"
It's funny how nothing's wrong when he wins but when he loses, he has a million excuses. Lack of character knowledge, lag, the other player got lucky, he can't do anything, etc.
"Lack of character knowledge" is by far his worst cope. Literally akin to saying "the only reason they beat me is because I'm not good enough" but somehow that's not his fault. The delusion is real
And its a no shat moment too. Like we all know you do mot play Tekken Phil. What are you going to do about the lack of character knowledge@@JiveTurkey1982
he uses the "can't do anything online" excuse in every fighting game he plays thought it'd be different when he plays sf6 but everything just follows the same pattern
He only likes matches where he destroys his opponent. Even if he wins 3-2, he complains that his opponent was spamming or he didn't know the character. Phil's idea of a perfect match is where his opponent just stands there and let's him beat the shit out them.
Nah, it's because his one trick gameplay is to mash the UUUUOOOOHHHH!-punch over and over with Paul and pray for counter hits for half their health bar. Not a pattern player though, not a masher, intelligent gameplay dood.
I'm surprised he can even play Tekken without complaining about waifus and being married. All the women being put into the school girl outfits must have him in complete mental torture.
The way he wants people to play is so weird too like it should be turn taking. Like he takes a turn beating on them, then they take a turn, then he takes a turn. He wants every fighting game to play like Super Turbo from the 90s.
I guarantee if you took a shot every time he did Phoenix Breaker (i.e. "URAAAAUGH!") across all his Tekken gameplay you'd become as much of an alcoholic as him.
Low ranks are full of people just as bad as the pig, if you play an aggressive char with big damage or cheesy gameplay (Paul an king) you can do reasonably well
You don't start facing "good "players in Tekken until at least later red ranks or Tekken King. ALot of people hit orange via gimmicks. Like DSP has done.
We get the best salt in fighting games when Phil hits his skill ceiling and can no longer rank up and get a positive win record. Like when he hit Master in SF6
What a shame. Once again, Phil has gotten the only copy of the game that removes his inputs, has magical lag/framedrop that only he can detect, and gives every opponents' moves priority over his. Crazy.
And when normal players lack character knowledge, they actually try to learn the matchup so they can do better next time. They most certainly don't cry about it for weeks on end. For some reason phillydelphia cant just lab these opponents or learn from match after match. Its like a kid losing in football saying he doesn't know the rules and strategy, for years and years while the coaches repeat the basics over again, only for him to quit and call the other team cheaters.
Man, between Dale's cognitive being robusted to precise, Pigroach here can't seem to clutch out anything from all of these mahshers, dood. SF6 and Tekken 8 have been such great games for salt content from the two biggest salt lords *from* the FGC, and I hope they continue to produce more as time goes on.
Does Phil not understand frame data or is he actually pretending? It is insane to me that this guy who has countless thousands of hours in fighting game can't understand that mashing in the middle of a string or after the opponent is + on block leads to a counter hit. And complaining about Mishimas being brain dead while playing Paul is just incredible stuff. If I didn't know better I'd say he is playing a character.
Uh oh, he ranked up enough to start running into thise "ahnline only" combos. Literally all you have to do is watch the replay and the game will tell you what you need to know. Every time I'm at a loss, I spend five minutes in replay and completely learn what I need to.
You gotta love how everytime both the reina players got their hits in phil was mashing. There were even times he got hit and still tried to mash out something slow for whatever reason.
Master rank in SF6 multiple times across multiple platforms, former pro fighting game player, highest placing american at EVO that year... and has 0 concept of what a frame trap is. Wild.
@@enigmaticheart666 every game you can hit the highest rank with an overall losing record If youre stuck in low ranks for several thousand matches then after a while start learning and climb in a few hundred, that several thousand doesnt just disappear even if your recent matches ratio would be positive your overall wouldnt Sf6 ranked is broken, but not a good explanation there
"He was mashing and spamming and jabbing and lagging and playing a pattern whilst also throwing out random moves, no way to win." - DSPs ego, holder of the coveted tekken 3 mall trophy.
Wait, I don't play Tekken anymore but do they show how many times a player disconnects now ( 16:02 ) ? I wonder what DSPs will say with all the rage quits that are sure to come.
When you first get the notice to accept a match, it will tell you of the player is using wifi or not, how strong thr connection is, and it'll show you their disconnection rate as a percentage...
"lAcK oF ChAracTer kNowleDge" Does he seriously think that every Tekken player has memorised every single character's over 100 attacks? No one does that. Tekken runs on a very simple to understand and counter High, Mid and Low system. All grabs are broken the same way, depending on the arm that's doing the grabbing with some exception with King. I cannot handle this punchable man-child's copium, I swear to God.
That first Dragunov he faced, the 1st round the guy sat back and waited for DSP to do something, missed a punch and then DSP killed him in a spam of hits. The second round, the guy was trying some things, testing DSP and barely won. Then kicked the crap out of him the next few rounds 😂. I don't play fighting games, and I could see the wheels in the guy's head spinning. "OK this DSP guy leads with his chin and mashes buttons in a panic... I am just gonna press him, give him no space and let him freak out and whiff." 😂 I don't play fighting games, never got 4th in a boycotted tournament... and I can see this. That first opponent wasn't even that good. I could see that too. I can also see/hear DSP mashing frantically. He isn't doing anything on purpose. Scrub jab mashing and pattern play. I think thats why he always accuses others of that... projection, as usual. Can't even win with a cracked charachter 😂.
The Reina at the end did the same thing. Phil Perfected her in the first round of the first match because she was just kind of feeling him out to see what he would do and how he plays. After that round, the beatdown commenced and it did not end lol.
Since piggy is going to hit a wall much sooner than he did playing sf6, I doubt he will keep playing it for too long. But at least there's some salt to be had 😂
He can't stop the mashing guys! These no talent scrubs just always guess right and Fill just always guesses wrong. Scrubby pattern players aren't beating Fill. He's just ignorant. That's all. Tekken looks a lot like SF when Fill is taking the controller. It just doesn't matter because Fill is terrible at video games.
How can you have an excuse for every single time you even get hit in a fighting game?? (For over 10+ years) Of you have excuses for everything else in your life.
DSP's technique is find a combo and just keep repeating it over and over, even if that combo gets patched, even if people learn to adapt and overocme it as they learn teh game more in coming weeks, just keep repeating that same combo over and over and in his mind because it used to work, it should always work in every fight.
It's so weird how he complains about character knowledge or "i don't know that! how am i supposed to know that!". There is literally a practice mode for that.
I have never seen anyone fall for the same frame trap 6 times in a row before. He really has one game plan, and it sucks. Also in the same sentence he says "not attacking, don't know why I am getting hit, Everything stuffs what I do." if you are getting stuffed, you are not blocking.
Yeah as thats the only one he's good at as it's very easy to learn, has a lot of basic combos, and to get good at a character you just learn a combo and spam it, his usual strategy.
His opponent touches a button and Phil is screaming MASH like a baby. Also he needs to shut up about lack of character knowledge. Guess what Phil this is the best chance to learn. But he’d rather throw out buttons and his fundamentals thinking that’s going to carry him.
Why doesn't DSP ever read chat for advice? Assuming it's not cut from the video I'm sure almost every time he says "I don't know the throw break/match up" SOMEONE in chat can tell him. I see it for every other streamer playing fighting games.
Right on the 0 second mark. "I can't stop the mashing!" Dude is getting HIT and mashing launcher himself, blocking electrics and still pressing. Does he really think he did nothing wrong, everything correct?
One thing I’m noticing from DSP is that he keeps trying to interrupt strings he admits to not knowing about Phil, the problem isn’t the game not allowing you to do anything. The problem is you doing something that will leave you wide open to be obliterated.
