To any of the people who don't play Tekken and want some insight: Any time DSP is complaining about "Spammed moves" "spammed strings" "Moar spam", he's just bringing his delusional street fighter logic into Tekken and it doesn't work. When you do a move in tekken, the faster hit wins the draw, and characters have continuations off of strings to help them get a combo off of counterhit. So pressing those strings and then making you press buttons is part of the plan. DSP is literally falling right into their trap because he could be ducking highs, parrying lows, blocking, sidestepping, or picking a better attack to counter the one he's dealing with, but he never learns, and he never will with his useless mindset.
He literally plays like every scrub noob King I play against. Nothing against them, but that play style is worthless against anyone who's seen it twice (heat into mash for 55% zero skill required ). He's acting like he has some kind of unique high-tier game plan when he plays in the most generic way imaginable. I main Lili and it was so far from spam what was happening to him when he played her. He was frame trapped and countered at every turn.
Not only are strings set uo to deliberately trick you, i think a BIG aspect of tekken to keep in mind is that attacks are slooow...some advice to learn when starting out is to look for 10 frame, and 15 frame punishers. And if youve never played tekken before, that sounds fucking insane... Im sure thats part of why everything feels safe and feels like spam to him. Not justifying anything, just something he honestly SHOULD know. Im sure a lot of stuff his opponents are doing arent safe at all, hes just refusing to do what you mentioned, he could be ducking highs or parrying lows, sidestepping. He could be doing his own high/low mixups, he could be doing his own fucking evasive attacks
Well of course. I never had any doubt. 99.9% of the time he's losing in ANY video game, he blames everything for his loss except his own skill and reflexes.
And it's odd that he could actually bring Street fighter logic in that would help him. Nobody would try to interrupt a " Target combo" in SF. You either try to beat out the startup or punish the recovery. Just shows how much of a fraud DSP is.
The way Phil thinks fights should work: Opponent jabs once, then stands there, doing nothing for 5 seconds Phil does 4 hit combo Opponent stands up, hits once, then stands there for another 5 seconds. It's like any other game Phil plays, he wants the smallest challenge possible, so he has the easiest time. No wonder he likes Lego games so much.
The best part is you can literally hear the rhythm of punch noises as he's getting juggled in the air, waiting for the optimal time to strike, all while DSP claims he's "not timing anything at all."

He's also been known for being a "creep" or "PDF". Phil being the bias person he is defends him over anyone else like a kid with disability.
But if he does that, he can't use the "the input history is lying" excuse. Though, he might say that the camera couldn't capture his hand movement or something like that.
It's probably because Tekken is a fighting game I'm actually decent at, but him claiming that people are just spamming moves is genuinely pissing me off.
Fill is the ultimate hypocrite. He is 100% a pattern player and strictly relies on any and every form of pattern/chain/rinse and repeat style of game play in fighting games. But then he accuses quite literally everyone of doing the exact same thing. Which is just flat stupid since of course people are going to predominantly use the best combos the game has to offer. Why wouldn't you? It's just a ridiculous take from a ridiculous person.

Well theres always that new feature Tekken has where it replays and analyses a match and tells you what you did wrong. If DSP is so correct that would completely back up his claims about the opponent spaming!

I've continued to suggest that considering Derich never "supports" Fill monetarily, the only reason Fill defends him incessantly is because Fill considers Derich a genuine and sincere sycophant. And we all know Fill loves to collect adamant admirers since they are so far and few between. There is no other reason to defend such a deviant and sick person. Just shows how shallow and fragile Fill's ego truly is that he needs reinforcement from such a disturbed individual.
Derich use to send phil a lot of $$$ with his mommies CC and she got wise to it, contacted phil, blaming him since the CC went through his PayPal with her name, and suggested he was convincing her son to steal her CC for his tips.

DSP is always paranoid about his fans because his chat is full of larpers pretending to be fans. He knows he can trust Derich. Derich genuinely likes his content, Derich sees DSP as the wise man that DSP tries to portray himself as. When DSP pigsplains stuff, Derich actually learns.

Phil telling other people to grow up will never not be funny. His humor consists of like 3, maybe 4 things and none of it is "grown up." That's why I always have to sigh everytime this hypocrite says that he's grown and matured as a person, and that he's grown older and wiser with age. Then sits there on the pre stream talking about how the last time he used the bathroom it was like an episode of Family Guy the way he describes it thanks to the meal he ate the previous day. You need to grow up Phil. Sitting on stream thinking what you do is work. What you do is the equivalent of sitting on the side of the road holding up a sign for money. You know what I do for people like that Phil? Instead of giving them money for the vices they may or may not have, and risk wasting that money, I stop somewhere and get them something to eat. Because at least I'd know that day that they didn't go without something as important as a basic meal.
How can people not want to support dsp just on the basis of his whining and bitching in anything he plays. He also does the things he complains other people are doing. I also think it's funny how when dsp wins or is winning he's being a toxic, arrogant douchebag and everything's all good but the moment someone starts to turn things around he complains and even wants to give up even if he still has a good amount of health left.
Derichs mom propably pays a set amount of money so that he watches him, i read Derich used to steal his Moms CC to give Phil alot of Money until he was caught.

First match. The Lee running basic Lee pressure and DSP whines that hes just spamming and mashing. If you're stuck in strings why not yknow.. try to do something defensively. Idk. Duck. Backdash. Sidestep. Power crush. King armor. Jaguar step. ..just a few options you have besides stand blocking and staring at him like a mouthdrooler and crying.
"I dont have a single move like that" Yeah dude. Hes playing Steve. Extremely limited options outside of getting launches at range and mixups. Doesnt punish traditionally like other characters.. but he has strong combo and counter hits. Meanwhile.. King has a heat smash that does the most damage in the game, with insane range, and if they block it he still gets a guaranteed 50/50 mixup.. why does he always talk like every character is a boss character and hes the only one playing a humble, honest low tier character.
He has to put his foot a lot lately. I'll never understand why Phil is so protective of that little creep. Derich is going to assault somebody eventually, probably a minor. Why doesn't he understand that Tekken is a game about punishing 'spam' with proper timing and blocking? This is Tekken. Finding openings and punishing hubris. Calling it spam is missing the point entirely.

Lee is literally a kickibg style character and his attacks are more high to mid with very few low attacks. He doesnt even try and avoid or block. King also loves the throw so he doeant know how to do anything.

He always talks about protecting his audience and listening to them, yet when it is people he favors in his chat that are the problem like Derich or Canadian Kirk, everyone in the audience complaining about them are idiots and bullies. Hell if someone is harassing you in chat and he's playing a match, you get cussed out and told he can't do anything since he's busy playing the game. But if Derich says it, drops everything tp ban that person in an instant no questions asked.
If DSP had any compassion for Derich he would ban his ass immediately and recommend that he seek medical help for what at minimum appears to be a sex addiction and a pathological need for attention, and is likely something even worse.
