Besides crouch jab or while riding 2, Yosh also has Samurai Cutter (full crouch~d/f+1), it's a low evasive sweep that can be combo'd into. I dunno if he still has armored moves or power crushes but F+3+4 was a real noob killer in Tekken 7 if people wanna mash against you. If you're actually good at the game, there's always Flash (1+4), a psuedo-parry that crumple-stuns and leads into a combo.

If his enemy is using more than one button per second then it's spam. Combo? Nah, spam. Programmed move? Obviously spam. Repeating tactics that he can not counter? Of course, it's spam. A pro player in an offline environment (again, according to Phil) wouldn't have gone for that attack because he would have be able to guard on reaction.

Crouching 1 is a way to get out of 1-1-1-1 jab checking (doing that leaves you a +1 on almost everyone so its a safe poke, but it's a high and can be crouched.) As soon as someone tells him how to beat jab checks he has a temper tantrum and acts like an asshole.

Assuming they didn't change the frame data, the bare-handed version of Flash is 6f, making it his fastest move, followed by Flash with sword which is 8f with a larger hurtbox to justify the slower startup.

You literally can't win with Phil. You can't play more odd characters with strange animations and fighting styles, can't leave the ground in any 'anime' like way. Can't do weird things. Yes, Alisa using dashing attacks, floaty moves, chainsaw hands, or Lars doing 'anime' moves is worse than playing a guy who has stretchy arms. Not a fighting game character dood! And he's still one of the oddest characters in that game too, next to Voldo. I'mnot an expert but I'm fairly certain the head explosion is reversed by simply punching.... backing up, side stepping maybe. I don't play tekeen. If you respect her too much she just drops a explosive head in your hands. it's like MR satan way back in budukai tenkiachi 3 and his present bomb(And that was way worse, could interrupt supers with it) In short, this Alisa read Phil like a book because he always sprints at his opponet and does the easiest attack, which she clearly learned to low profile under and kick him.
