I just got back into fragrances. I had over 200 bottles of niche one time, sold them all, kept 5, got back into it added some designer, sold them all, now I’m back again. I noticed that the dupes have got wayyyyyy better. They use to be synthetic and I never even bothered with them, I just ordered 5 bottles from Montagne Parfumes and omg, the Parfum De Marley’s are 99%, TF TV is too, I also ordered their sample sets and all the Le Labos are 99% too. The only one I didn’t think smelled as close was my 2015 batch of Aventus, something seems off with theirs, but all 25 others I’ve sampled are killing it.

I blind bought this one and love it! For those that are worried about an overpowering Oudh, I can safely say it is certainly not that. In fact I can barely detect any Oudh. It almost smells like a really clean "blue" fragrance than an dense, smokey Oudh. Very smooth, but long lasting, the smell sort of reminds me of a swimming pool, a hint of chlorine mixed with the smells of tropical tanning oil.

Oud Wood is my favorite fragrance of all time but the performance on me is abysmal. I tried every clone/dupe I can get my hands on but still Oud Wood (the scent) is better than Versace Oud Noir, Thameen's Carved Oud or FdB Oud Noir Intense...Bois Oudh is my last resort...will do an in depth review on all the oud wood dupes/clones when I get my Bois Oudh bottles

Any updates on how Bois Oudh compares to Oud Wood?

@@Rainnncloud Bois Oudh is the best Oud Wood clone in my opinion. It's the only one that captures the feel of the original, while ramping up the performance. I also tried Parfums Vintage clone (smells exactly like Carved Oud from Thameen but not like Oud Wood), SweDoft Cambodian Oud (very different), and those in my original comment.
