Glitches like sprites inverting colour, messed up screen, sprites changing size, a total crash with different colours changing, or something completely random, are seriously very fun. i just can't explain why but they just always make me laugh my ass off whenever playing a game and something similar happens, like in the modern 3 dimensional outlay games getting out of borders and finding buildings you can walk trough, make my day. it is just something about the glitches that are über fun.
I remember getting those weird stone glitches to appear. Sis always thought it was part of a larger in game secret. But I guess 20 years later that isn't the case.
0:49 that happened to me when i was a kid and seriously,I was scaried as hell!. I dont switched on the Nes like 2 weeks. PS:Sorry for my bad explanation, I am Spanis
Most of the chain passageways in the African Mines stage have a ceiling to them near the top of the screen. This will allow Scrooge to get stuck and pogo-stick around above the walls similarly demonstrated in this video. Other times Scrooge was stuck, but could get unstuck by jumping while pressing the up button, which would allow Scrooge to climb back up the chain rope.
Does those glitches from the NES version got removed in the Remastered version? I already did cleared te Amazon and Transvania levels from the Remastered version before watching this video.
Instead of the Remote Glitch, start the Moon Stage by going right to where the wall you need to blow up is. Then you go back to the left until a Robo-Duck spawns. Face and take a small step from the wall. If you are ducking when the Robo-Duck hits you, you will either A: Get stuck in the top of the wall, or B: Zip under the wall, leading to the last screen of the stage before the boss
I remember this trick. You could also hit the wall a few times with your pogo stick and you'd might get glitched into the blast wall falling down to the next part.
@goodbye2night1 ffs lol... it's just that the counters can't keep up with views that are rapidly coming, so it has to compile them, and if the vid gets more views while it's trying to compile, it has to keep doing it. That's why ALL new vids by popular uploaders have 300ish views for the first few hours...
I used to remember the Ducktails cartoon on the Disney afternoon show. I really enjoyed it. Smarter than the smarties and tougher than the toughies....I have not heard of those words for a long long time.
For those of you fans of the "DuckTales" NES game, there's also a new game which is recently came out. It's "DuckTales Remastered" for the PS3, but I hope Mike Matei should review "DuckTales Remastered" for the PS3 or Xbox 360 soon.
I'd like to hang out one day with James and Mike. They seem to be pretty tight and know how to have a good time. I love The Nerd, but the non-Nerd videos are pretty cool.
Nice glitches Mike. And I know you probabley don't read the comments Mike but if you do, is that gemstones reprint of Only a poor old man? It's my second favorite Barks story.
Just found that If you play the game thru and leave the himalaya as last level and then do the treasure glitch, on next run you have dracula duck in himalaya as end boss, if you beat him you'll have the "rope run" but no rope to run and you'll lose. On the next boss run you'll lose to invisible end boss.
I loved Duck Tales, my brother loved it and my sister loved it (it was her game)! I have a pirated version of this game on my Wii HBC NES emulator (I can justify this, as I have the original cart). I might just give these glitches a try. Don't know about that snow level boss glitch though, looks kind of tricky!
+KILLER MEMESTAR I know that there's the treasure chest ending and the pile of coins ending. They have another one or is this an april's fool joke? haha
Love finding Glitches in the games I found one on Kings Quest ( I think that's the name of the game been long time ago )" got past without the keys to open the door by going threw the wall at a point under the grass at the very bottom of the screen you got to hit it just right so you can pop under the grass that you should never can do then crawl below the wall off the screen must have been a small break in the programming. I grabbed the Jewel to win the game the screen went black with tex erro
I had Ducktales on my Gameboy, I'm not sure if it's the same as the NES one (at least it looks like it), but I didn't like it very much. I think it was one of those games without continues. I don't remember, that was like 12 years ago.
when I played, I had a glitch against the snow boss, when he is at the right, I tried to hit him twice, then I was hit because he had invulnerability frames and I don't know why, I clipped the right wall and was blocked, I had to wait for the timer to run out.
If you'd narrated this video like it were some paranormal show, I really would have shit myself. All these glitches deal with horrible, gruesome deaths, unidentifiable entities turning into orbs, the world plunging into total darkness, etc.
To those that want him to review the Remastered version... he did but on the site in text. He surprisingly didn't like the game at all calling the final impression "mediocre".
Strange enough as this sounds, didn't Scrooge mcDuck originate from that Disney's Christmas Carol? It's easy to forget he's supposed to be based off of a Dickens' character with so much spin-off stuff.
@LittlePussLiquor He's making a movie with a friend of his about AVGN. He hasn't let much info leak about it yet though. He did post a video of him explaining it though. You should be able to find it here on RU-vid somewhere.
