I'd say the Sunflower Fields if anything, but it's just unfortunate that there's nothing pleasant there for him like the other two have. And I think the Sunflower Fields was an actual place in Tazmily.
Magicant is sad. You're saying goodbye to everything you loved as a child before giving it all up to become an adult. You don't want to. But you have to.
But you don't say simply erase it all, you integrate it upon yourself and unlock your true potential. It is really inspiring to me. The final sequence of Ness awakening after defeating his evil, accompanied with the music theme at the end of this video... It always brings me chills.
@@SuperBrictson *took inspiration They handle this theme imensely different, and Inside Out is more towards the theme of needing to feel sadness in order to feel happy, the base memories of her childhood were still with Riley at the end of the movie, but now they were sad memories, no longer happy like before, but still important to define who she is nonetheless
I think this area is beautiful because it says so much about Ness when he has never actually said a word. One moment I especially think about is when you talk to Porky: "Ness, you’re so lucky… I envy you. … I have no luck. Let’s be friends forever, all right?"
@@sythem And pokey really seemed to want to be friends with ness (despite the backstabbing). As he treasures his yoyo in a glass in that one area in mother 3
@@diblovescopyX Yea giygas def corrupted the hell out of Pokey's mind. No wonder he's all pale blue in the giygas fight. Even with Giygas gone in mother 3, I still think the devil-machine had an influence, or something. Giygas was actually seemed to be intended to be added in the 10th chapters planned for the game, but was cut as the game was made shorter. (source: i made it the fuck up. just kidding. "Mother-3 unused Giygas ost", the unused song implied giygas was going to show up at some point)
The music that starts at 2:25 is my favorite part of the magicant theme. It does not play until Ness has awoken, but I wish there was a longer version of it, it just fits the moment perfectly.
The first time i heard the second part of the music, i wasn't even noticing i was playing a video game... Seriously this music is incredibly lonely and beautiful
If a 16bit machine has the ability to produce something as beautiful as this then no one ever has a right to blame their tools for their lack of their creativity and skill.
Magicant is what I imagine lucid dreaming to be like, and that would be great. Being able to live in your own subconscious could be both horrifying and liberating, delving past what you think you and are getting to what you really are inside.
Oh so this what I hear in my dreams? I have heard this my whole life since everytime I dreamed I would hear the theme of magicant in a world where even if it isnt real at least it felt like a whole better world, where all my mental pain would be washed away, I wish I could go back there and say goodbye to the cats I never had: Josh, Henry and Ellie. I will never forget them.
I WISH I DREAMT OF GIANT CARROTS. :D I'd spend the whole dream eating. And just eating and eating. Everything would taste like fruit, no matter what it was! ...So I guess everyone has thier own Magicant. o.O Freaky.
@GigaCaptainOlimar It makes sense anyway, since coming out of Magicant was like being reborn in a way, and while I'm sure he wasn't born with a red cap, it's just something he always has with him, a symbol of who and what he is and what separates him from others like with the final battle leading into the Cave of the Past.
@ContraCommando oh and its ok, i don't try to take offense to things unless they're really shocking, i know some people have strong opinions about things if only sometimes, and i respect that.
Would've been cool if they made Ness naked in this version as well. XD Seems more appropriate considering where he's at - and I doubt he always imagines himself with his favorite clothing on.
