So wonderful to drop the perfectionism and obsessiveness that comes with so many quilting tutorials. I am still a relatively new sewist and you make me want to try quilting. I appreciate the precision and beauty of quilting, but I hate feeling intimidated or defeated because I am never likely to gain those skills. It's nice to see a lovely, usable quilt that looks fun and relaxing to make. Thank you, Beth. I love your channel.

That’s how I feel! Well said!! ❤️💕 I always used to say I’m going to quilt when I grow up. I am 63! I believe it was more that I was never ready for all the precise skills I needed, Beth makes it fun! I am at that point in my life I want to have fun, not stress because it wasn’t perfect! ❤️

Beth. Thank you for this youtube and all your tubes. I look forward to seeing you every day because every day I hope you post. I will make a quilt like this. I love this quilt. Strings are my favorite. I am still working Jacob's Ladder with the black and cream prints and 2 inch squares and bars. I appreciate all you do. I love your scraps. Thank you for helping me to look at my scraps in a different way and how to plan a scrap quilt.

OH all these happy fabrics in a row! Thank you for the SIMPLICITY of your work! I have always felt intimidated by the measures and calculations that some quilters insist upon. I love the way you could just work on this whenever the mood strikes you - so easy to pick up and join a bunch of strips together. No fuss. Thank you for making quilting accessible.

One more thing I'd like to add is doing away with the foundation piece. It works out beautifully without it and no more straitening the sides of the strips. Wonky is more original and fun and no need for the quilt police. Keep up the good work and everyone's happy!
