The music notation is in a bass clef, although that is not shown. These two facts together tripped me for a few minutes.

Covid seems to have been good for your inspiration. The Lord is working in mysterious ways, at least in your case. Humour aside,this is a great lesson and really brings together so many elements where jazz, blues and gospel all live happily together in a blissful threesome.
