Bill, I have never commented on youtube before and had to get my daughter to set me up. I saw your latest video last night and felt I had to let you know how much pleasure your videos have given me and how sad I was to hear you have cancer. You really do make fishing seem easy and have tempted me to go again after a 45 year absence. I think you are an absolute role model to any youngster thinking of wetting a line. My wife has battled through cancer after being told she had months to live, she is now cancer free and seen her first grandchild born . Tight lines to a truly wonderful person I have never met. Phil

At least you’re back bill, I was so worried I messaged you. Well without going into detail , I’m in the same situation, but unfortunately I can’t get out on the bank at the moment, but I’ll keep trying. I’ve sold quite a bit of the tackle off so my wife isn’t left to deal with it, I had far too much anyway :) If it’s any consolation whatsoever, Ray Clemence (the goalkeeper) fought prostrate cancer for 15 years, so keep battling, we’re all with you. Bill,three years ago I discovered your channel whilst scrolling through RU-vid..I had given up fishing 10yrs ago, mainly due to the amount of tackle I felt I needed to be competitive in the matches I fished+my old fishing clubs desire to constantly fish commercials..... But your simple tactics on minimal tackle tempted me to give it another go,and I've never looked back.. I now fish club matches on rivers and canals,have made many new friends and won a few matches with my secret weapon (the whip feeder!).... All this happened because of YOU....I will be forever grateful to you Bill.
