Today's video is all about easy smoked pork tenderloin! After doing a few searches on RU-vid, I realized there isn't a ton of videos on pork tenderloin recipes, especially smoked pork tenderloin! This is a crying shame because pork tenderloin is absolutely delicious and is truly the filet mignon of pork!
Pork tenderloin recipes don't have to be complicated. For this smoked pork tenderloin recipe I kept it simple. I seasoned the pork tenderloins with a base coat of Tailgater's BBQ Party Rub, which is my go to all-purpose rub. The next rub I used was Mojo BBQ from Jay Durbin (be sure to check out the link to his channel below). Jay knows a thing or two about pork, and I figured his Mojo BBQ Rub was the perfect bbq punch I was looking for and I was right!
After seasoning the pork tenderloins, I fired up my Pit Boss Pro Series 1600 to 250º F. I ran Cookin' Pellets Apple Mash pellets for this cook because applewood and smoked pork tenderloin go together hand in hand. I smoked the pork tenderloins until they hit about 130º F and then sauced them with one of my favorite sauces. Once the pork tenderloins hit 140º F internally, I pulled them, tented them in foil and let them rest for 10-15 minutes. The end result from this smoked pork tenderloin recipe was tender, juicy, and delicious! I highly recommend this pork tenderloin recipe, especially if you love smoked pork tenderloin!

I come back to this video ever time I cook pork tenderloin. Great instructional video. I usually use Sweet Preacher seasoning but I’m going to try the Sucklebusters. Their brisket rub is good so gonna check this out.

We make tenderloin often, if you ask my wife she’ll say it’s her favorite thing I cook. We signed up to take our kids’ teachers appetizers last month and the light 💡 bulb went off. Pork tenderloin sliders. They loved em.

@@AshKickinBBQ two tenderloins were good for about 2 dozen small sliders. And it was about $12 to do it. I made tenderloin with Kosmo’s Pineapple Heat rib glaze recently, and it was marvelous.

Another great video Darrin. Bacon is good but I think tenderloin is king. I like the way the rack on the pitboss 1600 slides out! What was the white mat you had between the cutting board and wire rack when prepping?

Thank you, Mark! I really appreciate your continued support brother! Yes both the middle and top rack slide out, pretty handy! That white mat was a disposable cutting board. I use them at comps, but it’s nice for keeping raw meat off my nice board, etc.

So the Party Rub is made by a buddy of mine, and distributed by SuckleBusters. It has SPG in it of course, amongst a few other ingredients that really make it shine. It is fantastic on everything! Eggs, salads, etc. It's all I use on my briskets now catering, and I use it in competition as well. I love SB SPG, but Party Rub has replaced SPG as my daily use rub. I am confident you would love it!

Great video!! I'm trying this today and I'm new to doing tenderloins. I purchased 2 but when I opened the packages they seem to be split in 2 and coming apart. Do I actually have 2 tenderloins in each package or should I tie both halves together from each package. Thanks.
