You took off the metal nut that used to be part of the fan, but you didn't put any back on when you installed the new one why is that? Also I am having trouble removing this nut it seemed like you turned it very easily were you holding the motor while turning clockwise?

Yes, you have to hold the motor shaft with pliers while you turn the fan off. That "nut" is press fitted into the fan and normally you won't see it. It showed up in the video because we had to break the fan to get it off.
