He was and always will be the king of rock n roll. He's never been topped. Saw his first TV appearance on the Edge Sullivan show and learned to dance to his music as a kid.
There is only one Elvis. His voice is what really defines his music in my opinion. He can also dance and perform well too what can I say, a legend and somewhat my idol.
Boy, did I wear a groove in this song when I was about 10 years old. And, can you believe, it was never a big single hit. I had to buy the Jailhouse Rock soundtrack on a 45 with little bitty grooves (3 songs on a side) and wore out the first copy. It could have been a monster single if RCA had released it that way. Elvis ... You will always be the KING!
Elvis in the 50's forced America to dance to a new music, and dance we did! He invented dance moves, he invented the music video, he didnt invent rock, but he sure perfected it!
Very good dancer X singer X nice friendly man X had time to say hello to 7year old girl who had not long to to live X he sang her a song she was at his show X she met him x
There is no Beatles, there is no Stones, there is no pop culture without Elvis Presley. The 1st Pop culture sensation, before there was a name for it. Rock and roll dies on August 16, 1977. Cemented in 20th Century American Folklore.
Soon as I got into You Tube, I had to come look for this video! Thanks for having it! It was the first "music video" I fell in love with as a little girl in TN, before there was an MTV, shhhhh! Wish I'd met him before he died. I loved him then and still do. Tina
This was my fave song for the moves. Whenever I see the tribute artists I request it, somehow they dont have the moves...lol Rock on Manchester. Old but not square.
Que genio Elvis y pensar k en este tema el k toco el contrabajo fue el gran Elvis en la grabacion de estudio k capo the King Of Rock And Roll desde Argentina
I am a Teenager and love him too!:D!... The first piece of music I ever bought was an Elvis Record... Infact I had a record player before I even had a C.D player... And I was 12! XD... I'm now Seventeen and the Elvis Record is still one of my favourites :D...
This movie was a top favorite of mine when I was young. It was released on July 9, 1957. The rock and roll really had the older people upset over it. However, the woman who played Peggy Van Alden was Judy Tyler born on October 9, 1932. She died on July 3, 1957 in a Wyoming car accident with he second husband that she had just married on March 31, 1957. This was just a short time after this movie had been completed. She was dead on the scene and her husband died the following morning. She never got to see the movie. Elvis was never able to watch the movie because of her death. It hit him very hard.
El es el original Elvis Presley, nadie podra superar al original ni siquiera esa pelicula 2022 y el actor Austin Butler como se escriba jamas podra superar al original Elvis Presley 😎👍🏻

Ol' Willy....if you can feel the music in your soul, the moves come naturally. That's when people will say you are a "natural". No choreography needed at all. I don't know why some people can "feel" it and others can't. I think it's just what's in your soul.
