The content you put out on your secondary channel is getting more profound, well polished, and effort-wise is on the level with your primary channel which is an achievement that barely any other RU-vidr can claim. Unsubscribed and blocked.
Valentin Ljumeži no way, the fantano channel is still way more low effort than the needle drop channel. A lot of the videos in the Fantano channel are fluff pieces where Anthony repeats an obvious observation over and over and uses meandering language to stretch out the videos. That’s not to say that all Fantano videos are like this, some are quality and Anthony does have substantive things to say, but a good chunk of them are basically filler
I cannot wait for your review of Circles. Honestly no matter the score, I just am happy that it’s being listened to. It’s what he wanted. Mac’s family treated him with so much respect.
This is one of the most well-done tracks he has done in awhile. I thought the song was initially going to be about him, then he cleverly drew the parallel between him and the shooter from the Mandalay Bay massacre.
Camron Fritts I think you missed where the shooter wanted to be like his grandfather. Who was a famous bank robber. Em has always been scared of becoming his farther. This song hits on many different levels. The reason Melon doesn’t him is because Melon is
I've never been an Em fan and honestly only listened to probably 5 of his songs in total, so I took the time to listen to his album and I ain't gonna lie that shit bops, I honestly thought it was all going to sound the same but it didn't. Also I loved the Juice Wrld, Don Toliver and Anderson Paak features.
@@user-wx8mi1pd6g you'll be okay with it if you do listen to more em songs, but try listening to KSG, TPAB, Illmatic etc, then come back to this one and you'll feel that it's shit.
@@adrianatgaming8640 I agree with Illmatic and TPAB, but KSG was HELLA overrated. This shit is honestly on the same level - just pretty good. Nothing ground breaking, but sonically pleasing.
@@user-wx8mi1pd6g agreed. Listen to when he was actually good. First 3 albums are the shit. IMO no one has since reached the level that Em was at with those 3 albums. Slim shady LP, Marshal Mathers LP and The Eminem Show. He had emotion and something to say. Listen to the track called Kim. Holy shit. IMO eminem is now a right twat and his music hasn't been good since the 00s apart from the odd song here and there.
@@imro1096 The comment section is basically a competition of who can make the best Melon joke, it's gotten so competitive that people aint even talking about the actual vids anymore.Their is like a hierarchy of Melon comedians and the ones at the bottom are sentenced to death.
@@imro1096 to add to what cyber said, the fader situation years ago resulted in people making the most outlandish falsifications for humorous purposes, this is the normal here haha
This imo is what makes Eminem great, his ability to do storytelling. It's annoying when Eminem stans think that being a lyricist is all about how many syllables you can cram in one second.
Eminem fans dont think that. You saw two youtube comments and generalized an entire fanbase based on that. You could make your point without doing that
if you go onto a subreddit instead of a youtube comment section, most people hate it when he does fast rapping and prefer him to do slower rap with a smoother flow
Yessir. I’m actually quite surprised Anthony didn’t get more popular off of TikTok. Respect for him not turning into a big mainstream channel that blows up off of TikTok.
Honestly I think Eminem's album is pretty good. All the flows are really fun, there's no angry jerky flows. Not too many corny cringy punchlines, and some of the punchlines are really smart and creative. And most of the features are pretty good. The biggest critique I have is that a lot of the songs sound the same and not much stands out. The album is not singy/poppy bullshit so I think the 13 year old Stan fans might not like it as much. The production and Hooks are pretty weak at times so the album is not great but this is the direction and atheistic I hope Em keeps working towards. But overall a pretty good album definitely his best since MMLP2. I'm feeling a 6.5/10.... Oh i mean....uhhh nice video Melon but saying the Manda lay bay shooter did nothing wrong was pretty harsh.
I feel like there's a lot of autotune which can downgrade the album especially when in Kamikaze's The Ringer he says "maybe the vocals should've been autotune and you would've bought it" and it sounds like a critique to people only wanting to buy records if it's autotune.
I feel like this album is better than revival and kamikaze because some of the flows and instrumentals were way way better on this album. Fr doe there was still a lot of cringe bars on this that brought it down. Imo: Revival- 1/10 Kamikaze- 3.99/10 MTBMB- probs 5 maybe higher/10
I didn’t know what the song was about going in, and was blown away when it became clear the song wasn’t about Eminem himself, but the shooter. The parallel he drew was really gripping and well done.
@lil Blaisy meh. Your music is ok. I will share the dark lords message on your life now. Look up his page its called "share his vision". He is on RU-vid
I really felt the parallels between em and the shooter throughout the song. He is even wearing the same hooded attire as the gunman until right before the shooting begins, also in the video the way em is setting alone in the dark room but it later turns to show the whole time there was a huge audience after all with lights and flashing cameras shows his mindset on still living in darkness no matter if your surrounded by millions of people who are putting the spotlight on you. Certainly a stand out Eminem track
Nemz not really. His lyrics and flow are better and he seemed to have fun making it. But if you didn’t like it that’s ok too. I did but if you didn’t that’s fine.
great job on the review I believe that the parallels between Eminem and the shooter in the verses are thoughts going through Eminem's and The shooter's head before Eminem is starting a show in his darkness before the shooter is about to do what he does, with the show about to start and how the thoughts can be completely different when looked at from different perspectives of all the minds involved Eminems, the shooter, the crowds, the song has an amazing concept in my mind the third verse wasn't needed the concept and point of the song came across amazingly in the first two verses
Isn’t the whole song about it being all a double entendre? The words he used to describe his life can be flipped to describe the shooter. Kill the show, shots, loaded, scope (alcoholics drink mouth wash when they can’t access any other form of alcohol), I know there are more, but you get the point
Because the song is called Darkness. That is retarded, not even a funny joke because it makes no sense. So the band called The Darkness also have an N pass yeah? By your logic. Are other things not dark?
i actually liked this album. a lot more than i thought i would honestly, the second half didnt feel as memorable I felt (except little engine) but the first few songs were solid (ed sheeran and jews world songs fuckin slapped)
This song really shows how Eminem is the greatest of all time. It is time you start appreciating him. The album is at least strong 7 to light 8. If it isn't you lose all credibility as a music reviewer
Track 12 "Stepdad" uses the melody of Luis Alberto Spinetta (Argentinean songwriter) "Ámame Peteribí," 1973. Pretty amazing tribute to a great musician.
For the last ten years or so Eminem has sounded like an angry old man on his tracks. This track has more of the sound of his slim shady days with a more youthful sound in a higher octave. I like it
I have been so overexposed to the sound of silence, that honestly it doesn’t mean anything to me anymore, and it’s even become a little annoying, like when you start hating an alarm because that’s what you wake up to, and you don’t like waking up.
This is a great album in my opinion. From what I have heard the only songs that aren’t great are this one and farewell. With that being said tho even those are no where near as bad as some of his latest songs on his albums. This is his best album since relapse to me. Doctor dre being all over this thing definitely shows. I am not sure why he ever stopped working with him in his latest albums but either way I am really happy he is back with Dre.
Still cant believe you got The Velvet Underground to record the track review intro back in the 60s before you were even born. A true testament to your transcendent, godly powers Melonman.
I heard the song and I was surprised that I liked it so much. It was really good. I love Sound of Silence and the “Hello darkness my old friend” was quite subtle that I really didn’t mind it being there.
