@@StraightTruckinSnowman it was crazy. That was my freshman year of college, flew out with my boy. Left that weekend broke but it was worth every penny.
@@wm_9640 again much respect that's a sign you had a great weekend went to the 4/20 game back in 19 with a couple of my bro's whom are fellow Yankee fans got a hotel near MSG for the night was lucky I had more than $20 in my wallet the next morning after going to the game and out drinking in Manhattan that night.
Idk how people say he’s overrated. He may not have been the best fielder in his career but the guy was all time. Clutch, grace, leadership…he’s rated where he should be
As a Mets fan I hated this guy, but as a Mets fan a respected him! NY is the hardest city in the world to make it, fans and media turn on you in a heartbeat, this guy was a leader and a role model for his entire career here.
Im from the BX and he was my SS my entire youth i have tears of joy to be able to witness a legend repping with class and dignity thank you for this video my new born daughter will see this as soon as shes born next month again thank you
Wow, this was well done. It was an honor and privilege to see him play ball day in day out, season after season, and hit after hit. He was THAT good and a class act to boot. Thanks Jeter!
Michigan/Tigers fan and Western Michigan grad (He is from Kalamazoo). He was the next best SS after Ripken hung them. Period. His demeanor and approach is poetic and stoic. Played the game with class always. While he burned my Tigers, you know the special ones when you pay more attention watching them in those games than your team. #2HOF #R2SPECT
@@Lord_Bibulous I stand by what I said. There have been hundreds of players better than Jeter. What are you basing it on? Hits? titles? (he is no where near won the most). Statistically he is one of the worst shortstops in history of baseball. He is a hall of famer and deserves to be there, but he is not an immortal.
@@t206kid You can stand by what you said. It just comes off as ridiculous by people who actually watched him play and watched the game. Especially when you contradict yourself. Hall Of Famer (1st Ballot) but not an "immortal". I'm basing my opinion on his career numbers, his overall play, his consistency during that play and what he meant to his team. *ESPECIALLY IN THE PLAYOFFS.* Which is where legacies are really made. It's as simple as that.
