This bride has brought her brothers and her dad to help her choose a wedding dress. But one of the three dresses she tries on is hated by absolutely everyone. Catch Say Yes to the Dress on TLC - Sky 133, Virgin 162, BT TV 323
Okay I love her dad. Listen to him talking about goddess dresses and bling, go dad! I lost it at his, "Travis says it looked better in the bag, but she just refuses to wear the bag over the dress" 😂😂😂
I love the Dad: "This is like a goddess dress. This is something like Athena would wear. I'd love to see you in it". Showing how's it done. He was so positive and encouraging. Love their relationship so much.
Athena was a war and wisdom goddess, Zeus' favorite child, known for her strength and intelligence without the need for any man. Dad has good tastes in goddesses.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the step mom, who was present to show her support without trying to fill in the mothers role, or indulgence the decision.
Yes, she is great, wasn't intrusive nor opinionated at all. This family is really cool, silly, and full of love. Anna is so pretty. She looks so beautiful in that dress.
Thanks for pointing that out because we stepmoms get a bad rep (thanks Disney lol) my stepson asked me to adopt him after 10 years of raising him. Not because he hates his mom but because he loves me. Very awesome kid. I’m so blessed to be his mother
I love how the majority of her entourage are the big masculine men and they’re all in there picking dresses. It’s adorable! Lot of love in this family.
No kidding; I actually laughed at it. The top was beautiful, but the bottom would have even Marie Antoinette question things. But her dad is an absolute pet, and he has good taste, too.
I love that we just had a wholesome, loving family without the drama, passive aggressiveness, and nastiness. They all hated that dress on her, even the brother that picked it... but they just poked gentle fun and even the bride's grumpy face at her brother was part smile not genuine upset. Nobody went in there with any agenda of their own about her dress and they just supported her. Wish we got more families like this to enjoy.
Yeah and their comments (both positive and negative) were all about the dress itself and not about her body, which is a huge difference between this family and others.
I grew up with 3 brothers, no sisters. My brothers were always being funny and teasing, making comments - that's what I grew up with. I would never think to bring them with me when I went shopping for my bridal dress, just brought my mother. So glad this young lady, missing her mom so much, could bring them and they were all so loving and supportive and regular! I had a very formal affair, even designed my bridesmaids' dresses to be from the 1890's, lavender silk taffeta and made lavender ostrich feathered fans, lavender long gloves to the elbow, etc. and the guys all wore black tux's, my husband wore his black tux with tails! I also had the guys all wear white gloves (very formal - looked amazing). When I told my big brother Joe (7 years older) that he was going to be wearing gloves he said great, I just broke in my mitt!! Ha ha! He spoke at my wedding, he's so handsome and did such an amazing job! I didn't have a father in my life, parents divorced, he stayed in our town for 10 years, never saw us, then moved and lived on the property of his secretary that used to work in the office in our basement. She was married with 6 children. I just recently found out after her husband died my father married her. He spent my whole life from age 16 on being involved with her and her children - really devastating to find out! BUT I had my mother walk me down the aisle and it was great!
This is the definition of a healthy family. The dad was so supportive and gave her space to make her own decision and didn’t try to sway her or confuse her. The step mom knew her place and showed her support. The brothers were also so sweet.
"That looks like a goddess dress -- like Athena or somethin'." Dad nailed it 100% right there, and I find it interesting that he chose that comparison. Proves that redness of neck of displays of diplomas don't indicate absence or presence of brains.
Can we just talk about how wonderful and supportive this entourage is? Bless all of them, they’re so sweet and helpful. No conflict like so many of the other entourages, just overall so loving.
Stop with the clickbait titles. I came expecting the family to be terribly unsupportive and for the poor bride to be uncomfortable. We are going to click to see the dresses anyway.
@@jenettemerlini6035 it's like someone showing you a video of trains and telling you that a trainwreck will happen. I didnt want a toxic episode but I sure was expecting one from the title. I'm glad it didnt turn out that way but they need to fix their titles.
I personally preferred the dad's pick, but it's obvious she completely bonded with the third one, so congratulations on choosing the right dress and feeling that special connection with mom!
Same ! And yes. Was that not a brilliant pick for her? I think he chose really well, amazingly well, (title suggests trouble!!) what I thought was beautiful & the nicest dress on her...
I’m sorry to all those who lost loved ones too soon. I’m glad our bride had a solid crew backing her up her dad is hilarious at least he’s trying to put himself in the brides shoes
Some people actually like their stepmothers and are close to them. She may have said something and they just didn’t show it. As a stepmother myself I would be there for support and at least give my honest positive opinions.
These men were more supportive than many of the mother of the bride and bridesmaids we've seen. They really got into it and tried to find dresses she'd like. She looked beautiful :)
Chrysaura that’s such a cruel, judgmental, and unnecessary thing to say. Honestly. Do you feel better about yourself saying that? Did you get the satisfaction you were looking for? Geez. You need a hug or something. Lighten up
@@teriannebeauchamp254 I know. But before trying on dresses, he picked a dress and showed it to his Dad and sister. They said it looked like a cocoon lmao
"Nothin in your size" omg the dad. I love that he said that. I really loved his whole family. They were so supportive and just seemed like they liked being part of the selection but also totally deferred to her. The dad's choice was pretty but I really like the one she chose ! This one made me cry. Mostly because of how the dad was really so supportive but also bringing some laughter to the whole day.
Can we all just say how LOVELY this family is!!! The dad was so awesome I cried through this whole show. Even her brothers, bless them, were trying to help out. This was just the best show ever.
I love all these men in her family. The dad talking the "bling bling"...the brothers having supportive ideas. All of them trying to be there for her. And the stepmom being respectful and restrained.
It's something when you watch these episodes and the family sticks in your mind in a good way. Yes, the dress is pretty, but this family will stick in my mind as being supportive and funny. They care what the bride thinks. They didn't go on and on about how they dislike a dress. They were very supportive of her and her feelings unlike how other families who come on the show can be.
Love the dads pick. This family has heart and comedy....they are the real deal. She's very lucky to have such love and great support. I don't think she could look ugly in a dress if she tried. Her final choice is beautiful
Probably one of my favorite entourages that's ever graced this show. So sweet and supportive. No one was rude and obnoxious. Just love, and support. ❤️❤️ She picked a beautiful dress, and she looked absolutely stunning. And I hope, that on her Wedding day she will be able to feel her Mother's presence. 🙏🏻🕊️
"Travis said it looked good in the bag...but Anna *refuses* to wear the bag over the dress!!!" - LMAO....Dad has got a quirky and awesome sense of humor!
exactly what i was thinking, this pandemic has in some ways become a blessing in disguise, it has brought people from all ages from different places closer for EACHOTHER & i love seeing the positivity now😩
I understand this bride. My Mom died six months after my wedding. I'm glad I let my Mom do my wedding. It gave her a chance to give her the wedding she never had. R.I.H. Mom!🙏💖🙏
I really love this family. Dad is hilarious. Brothers are supper sweet. I must commend her stepmother for the way in which she very quietly and respectfully gave her support but never once tried to be overbearing. She allowed the young lady to have her moment. Awesome family.
This has to be my favorite segment of this show ever . The whole family dynamic was just amazing. The father was an angel . I hope she had a beautiful wedding .
Amazing dad with a killer sense of humor! The whole family was lovely and supportive; and the brothers were protective but sweet, too. I personally preferred the first dress, that her dad picked out, but she bonded with the third dress and that was the most important thing.
I really am touched by the support that her dad and brother gave her. They know that they can't fill the void of her mother not being there, but they sure made up for it with love and support. Her step-mother was admirable in not stepping in with her opinion.
This family actually seems super sweet! They joke super lightheartedly and they don’t make her feel like she has to pick the dress that they want, which is always a plus on this show
Bless you dad..you are gorgeous. The bride to be is really lucky to have all the support of her family.. Dad...you have excellent taste... Love the remark -can you hold a reception under there...priceless Australia 🙂🙃
*Can we take a moment to truly appreciate two brothers and a dad being **_such good men_** to their sister/daughter who is needing a mom stand-in right then? These guys made me cry so hard....the queen of the family and men who take the caring to learn about fashions in bridal wear because there is no female to do this for her. Lucky girl to have those three.*
Got to love her family! When I saw the one strap dress on her, it gave me goosebumps. When Monte blinged the bride up, it took things to a whole new level. Absolutely stunning!
Dad, your dress was lovely so my compliments for your taste, but “mums” dress was wonderful. I also compliment the father for picking up the emotions of the bride, a lot of men wouldn’t see that. Lovely dress, lovely bride, lovely family
This was a good episode. I'm glad that I came across this one. Because most of the time the entourage be so negative and rude. It really get to me. It's good that they seem to be a loving and supportive family.
I know losing a parent is so hard, especially when buying a wedding dress, but I went wedding dress shopping for a friend of mine, I was her bridesmaid, and her mum and sister were the worst, they criticized everything, were not happy with the colour, and really made the day depressing. ever heard of motherofbridesilla, because that was her. she's so lucky to have such a supportive and lovely family about the dresses, the first dress was so pretty, the second. well Travis, no not a good choice. but the third dress, when her family teared up, so did I. just stunning and also heartbreaking too
This made me miss my momma SO MUCH, although I already miss her every day. The dad was so sweet. When he said he hoped them being there for support was helpful for her.. I just wanted to hug him and tell him IT MADE A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE! Having that type of family support is such a blessing. This episode was great! The bride at the end was gorgeous too!! ❤
Can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that they are all so supportive of what Anna wanted and what she was feeling!!! I love supporting families!!!!
