OMG!!! We now have the skeleton of a two-trailer tiny house. Every day I am starting to believe more and more that this is possible.
I have finished framing up the main trailer. Really important that these walls are just right so that they support my swinging walls properly. Seriously... to the millimetre. To my amazement when I installed the walls, the locking pins lined up perfectly. First time. On both walls. That never happens. But we are not out of the danger zone yet. The real challenge is going to be that join.
With the frames up now you can get a sense of how the space is going to feel inside the house. And let me tell you... if feels awesome.
Next steps is to get this trailer wrapped, work on some bracing for that end structure, and then frame up those swinging walls and sliding roof. That is a going to be a lot of work.
Things are moving so fast. This video is from less than a week ago and already the house had changed even more. I'll do my best to keep the videos coming.
Until next time.
Don't hate... educate, and go build cool stuff.
