We head to Sequoia National Park and hike among the largest trees in the world. The peace and tranquility is soothing to the soul. www.johnjessjourney.com
Just watched #143 and saw no comment section available so posting here. Its great to see y'all again. Been wondering how y'all are doing. The kids have grown. Looked like an awesome way to "wait out" a blizzard. Glad the family is doing well. 🤙
All is well! Sorry we haven't posted anything. Still in the Reno Tahoe area, kids skiing and snowboarding a ton ( and going to school) right now we're trying to decide where to take the airstream this aummer
John, we took an 80 day trip out West last August to November and made tons of videos inspired by you and others but I only posted them on a shared album. I really enjoyed the editing and adding of music and titles. If you ever want to watch them let me know. It might rekindle your travel spirit
I’m not super techie, I just know if you have an Apple product I can invite you via your email or phone number. You accept the invite then you can watch them. I have friends with android and they can’t see it
John, Jess, and the little journeyers Olivia and Logan, it has been awhile... Hope you all are doing well. Merry Christmas & here's to the best to you and yours for the New Year. Still enjoying your vids, thanks for taking the time and effort.
Finally made time to watch both your Yosemite and Sequoia videos. Enjoyed both very much. Looks like October is the time to visit both parks. Watching the flashback of the kids from 3 years ago was cool to see how much they have grown. Enjoy your winter hibernation. Look forward to your next video. Stay safe.
You had a great camping season despite all the issues with the truck. Hope the children enjoy this season in school and everyone has a healthy year! Hope to see more of your adventures...thanks for sharing!
We're in British Columbia right now. Back in the airstream about a month ago. Can only go for 2 months though due to kids' school, as we're not currently homeschooling them. Haven't had a chance to make more videos yet though...
@@johnjessjourney2352 Totally understand. This is more of a comment to let you know that people are thinking about all of you regularly, and less about us wanting a video per se. pray that all is well with the family.
Great stuff. Clearly a great spot to visit and camp, and you are absolutely right about fall camping. Nice and quiet and simply beautiful. You are also absolutely right about rig size if you are doing the National/State/Provincial park thing. Our trailer is just under 30' and for the way we currently like to travel it is the max. size. Longer or taller and 1/3 of the sites we stayed in over the last 6 months are not accessible. There may come a day for a bigger towable, but for now we are more apt to downsize slightly as oppose to upsize. As always, safe travels.....
Yes, it's tight. In sequoia someone came in next to our spot with a 28 footer and couldnt get into their spot at all. And they completely destroyed their steps and side of trailer on some granite boulders while trying.
All is well. We're still taking a break from full timing in the Reno Tahoe area. We did get back in the airstream for two months this summer when the kids got out of school. We did the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia, although I haven't had time to edit any videos yet.
Thank you Anne! We're still in the reno area, will hopefully get back into the Airstream after the kids' current school season ends and head up to British Columbia and points north.
