Hello, Diane. What a pleasant surprise to come upon your podcasts. We seem to have a lot in common besides a love of knitting. I grew up in Pawcatuck, CT so still consider myself a New Englander. I love your footage of Block Island which I have visited once - such a precious memory of a lovely day with my Dad. My brother lives in Westerly, RI so I love your accent. I, too, have lost a wonderful uncle who left a legacy of storytelling. Your knits are gorgeous and so inspiring. I currently have an Artus shawl on my needles, have knit the Half + Half Triangle shawl (have linen quill to make 2 more), and love all the blue/green shades that you are drawn to. Love your reference to the relationship between gratitude and happiness! Looking forward to your future podcasts.

Wasn’t the pressed flower shawl fun? My first chart and mosaic knitting but fell in love. I didn’t do the small flower I did a few rows of CC color in a 3 but 2 rib then did a few inches of MC then did a thick i cord bind of with CC. Might have to try the Artus. Thanks for the rips. Judy
