Withy Octopus yes sure is!! And he was already out for a few years by the time we got together. There are still some adjustments to be made and it definitely poses some unique challenges for us that sometimes average people don’t understand but there’s nobody else I want to be with!! And he enjoys life and his new normal thanks for your support!

paveen alagesan This is Lorin’s girlfriend. He is the best thing to of happened to me 😊 we are incredibly happy together and he’s working in his dream job of a diesel mechanic. And has no restrictions he has bought more cars since being out I’m not sure who would be surprised there 😂😂😂

they have a "god squad" (a bunch of creeps in Ford trucks) and the local police force is all members of the FLDS as well. so 911 would call FLDS members in squad cars. the also have all of colorado city on camera.

The police force in that town and ones like it are usually completely staffed with their members. Of course there hands are slightly tied with the law, but they get away with way to much.

Hey, this is Lorins girlfriend. Sadly because Lorin left, it is against their beliefs (if you want to call it that) to keep in contact. Despite Milo being that strong male figure for Lorin but milo also knew what an asset he was and what a hardworking man he is. ❤️

@@BadEconomyOfficial I think you misunderstood what I was saying. In the scenario I laid out, he would get to take all of his trucks. He just wouldn't do it all at once. He would do it over a period of time BEFORE making his speech (put them on a friend's property or something) and then when he finally made his big move, he could leave in the last truck. That's what I was saying.

In the FLDS young men are seen as competition for the older men because it means less wives for them. A lot of the boys just get kicked out at around 15 anyways for that reason.

From what I've noticed, it all boils down to education and exposure. The women are literally born and raised to believe their purpose is to serve their father, husbands, and family. They're taught to depend and when it's been engraved and instilled in you for so long, it does a psychological factor where you'll believe you are capable of only so much. In their minds, why leave and risk that security/stability that they're so "used" to? Quite sad :(

Do the math. Polygamy requires that there be far more women than men. The women are extremely valuable commodities just themselves, whereas the men are only valued for the labor they perform. The fewer of them there are, the less competition for the women. Even before Warren Jeffs was arrested, men were kicked out of the FLDS at a high rate and for doing next to nothing, whereas the women were and are psychologically and physically prevented from leaving.

what this is lame, its skipping alot of scenes that are not shown in this video. For example that she speech he gave in the church was waaay longer. Also shows Lorin drivng off with a tractor. The rest of his trucks. This video explains who is Milo, and the conversation between him and milo is way longer. Later the police pulls over matt, get into a heated argument Also we are informed Lorin has a girlfriend, that where hes headed, unfortunately at the end, it states that they broke up but good thing he was able to get a job as mechanic.

These would be safer if they didn't need to be staged. If Lorin has six trucks he could have easily packed most of his belongings away beforehand, I'm assuming. I know on other shows they do dramatize scenes like this, packing and a final confrontation. But if anyone, even a tv network, is getting these people out and safely away from the FLDS, and spreading awareness (can't be a hypocrite, I would probably know very little about the FLDS without RU-vid) then... I just hope that away from the spotlight, everyone can find healing and closure
