There are many interesting things about how the Ethiopians run their easy runs, as well as how they view the relationship between terrain/places and training. Sweat Elite's Angus Teeton got to do his first easy run in Ethiopia in May 2022 with a Legendary Coach / Berlin Marathon Winner.

Gotytom is next big thing in women's marathon. With such great field, Oregon will be on fire.🔥 I just can't wait. Kudos to Angus running along them with camera gear and all at altitude reaches 3000 meters above sea level(Entoto forest the place where they do their easy run)..!! Even he has to do cool down with athletes after filming 🤣

Hi, everyone is talking about a book? Does anyone have a link to get it?
@laurenmillyx
@laurenmillyx 2 года назад
Is it colder when they run or are the extra clothes for heat prep?
@sweatelite
@sweatelite 2 года назад
It's quite cold, but they definitely wear extra clothing. I was running the same session in shorts and a t-shirt. It's a common trend in Ethiopia and Kenya that the athletes wear exceptionally warm clothing for the conditions. I think it has more to do with a belief that getting cold could cause sickness and personal preference than a preparation thing

Do they aim for a lot of hilly areas?
@sweatelite
@sweatelite 2 года назад
For these kinds or workouts they do. This one isn't particularly hilly but other 'easy' runs they do are on very very hilly slopes

ouuu i wonder if there are snakes in the forest
@patpatson9201
@patpatson9201 2 года назад
Man you guys sometimes 🤦‍♂...snakes like humidity and warmer climate most of the times. This is at almost 3000m, no humiditiy and kind of cool weather! There aren't many animals living at this altitude, plus people are running in groups what do you think an animal is going to do when it feels all those feet pounding the ground?!

@patpatson9201
@patpatson9201 2 года назад
@@honestguide4552 I live where there are even more snakes but never have been attacked or know anybody in my village ever been biten by a snake🤣 Actually snakes are very afraid of human, if they attack it’s only a self defense behavior like most animals! If they feel frightened, they attack back or run away😜
@honestguide4552
@honestguide4552 2 года назад
@@patpatson9201 ouu i see ... How about snakes like king cobra though, do they also attack only in self defence ? I dont know why I have this feeling some snakes would bit a human for no reason 😅
