You may not read this Etho but I’m glad I found you when I was still really young, you are one of the first RU-vidrs I actually started watching, I watching your content around late 2011 and just still seeing you keeping the great content the same series up makes me happy. You are one of the best RU-vidrs I’ve watched, and you don’t try to ruin your content unlike other RU-vidrs with the clickbaity thumbnails and titles. I also loved your realism mod pack series, it’s one of my favorites. Thank you Etho for being apart of my childhood, and still being the same amazing RU-vidr.

Regarding the "lava blade" thing. Instead of placing the lave source block inside the tube, place it a couple of blocks away from it, and let the lava flow into the tube. That way, when the Guardians fall into it, it might be thin enough for them to fall all the way through instead of swimming around in it.

I say trade with Cheetho. He's just so old he forgets he needs to take a break.

As far as Cheetho goes, I think that sometimes in real life, you get lucky. Not using those advantages in real life would be silly, so why make life in the game harder? Should we take a game more seriously than life? I'd say do as you please. Cheetho may die someday anyway.

Etho you need an emergency Iron Golem station at the guardian farm! Where you can just pull a lever, and a ton of Iron Golems walk out to protect you.

Cheetho - you used to abuse villager mechanics back in the day when you could trade with them forever as long as you didn't leave the window, so yes, you should totally take advantage of this because you've already done it. Great video, thank you

I've been crying for days because of the quarantine in my city and the overwhelming loneliness of it all. My school announced this morning that we won't be coming back after spring break and I'm just absolutely devastated that I won't get to experience the senior year my brother and older friends got to. Hey, Etho! For the auto mode of the guardian farm, have it so that the guardians fall completely to the bottom (open the fence gates), and where the water tunnel becomes 1x1 block wide, put a couple magma blocks on the ground and have a slab instead of the sign before the water elevator, the items can still go through and the guardians will be blocked and die from magma block, this way you can get rid of the kill chamber at the end of the item canal and the whole setup becomes WAYYYYYYYYYY easier. I'm okay with you using that rotten flesh trade. However I think there are much better ways of getting emeralds, such as trading iron paper or stone for emeralds. Or the best way: raid farm.

Maybe this was already mentioned and implemented, but did you consider delaying each fence gate until the previous one closes? This might help cut down on the number of guardians that fall though because they have to be perfectly aligned over that block rather than being anywhere in the 2 by 2. Just a thought.

I dont know how you do it but your videos are always my favorite. In this world that's constantly changing and scary, it's nice to see something so pure and unchanged... I see pretty much every other minecraft let's player play to the algorithm, yet you just do what's fun and enjoyable for you and take us along for the ride. Keep up the good work!

Etho you goof! All you had to do to remove the dropper sounds is make a hopper chain that leads at least 16 blocks away so the sound wont reach you when you're at the farm. I love using this method because it works on all sorts of farms, even ones in the nether, and I won't have to use precise timings in order to make dropper chains silent.

Etho is the only minecraft RU-vidr I still watch constantly. I love this guy.

Adam is correct Etho, use the magma blocks to block piglin spawning. Even if you do a 2x2 grid it will help rates. The warped fungi only scares the hoglins away, and those only spawn in crimson forest so they're no issue.

Anyone else notice ethos little easter egg at 8:18? He named the sword Chidori :D
