Ok this is my hesitation with electric. You have a wand with no glide on CGD, yet you can push it with one hand, easily?

All I can tell you is I've used this same basic setup since around 2005 and can usually have carpets dry in roughly 4 hours or so. I've cleaned thousands of homes and businesses and dry times simply aren't an issue, even in one of the most humid states in the country. It really doesn't take a huge blower to effectively suck up a gallon of water per minute. I've used regular truckmounts so I do have a benchmark to compare with. If you don't think electric is good enough I certainly won't try to convince you, but I know it works just fine for me, so much that I have no reason to "upgrade" to a regular truckmount. I did think at some point I would but really can't come up with a reason why they would do anything more than what mine does.

Always Carry.

You are right. Although the title of the video was kind of clickbait, I do carry. With the world we live in, I don't leave home without a "protection plan".

When you say 3/4 of a scoop. Is that per gallon? Thanks You've got urself a new subscriber.

Thank you Robert. Yes, I was using 3/4 scoop of each per gallon. It's a powerful combo, but in my opinion, overkill for most light to moderate soil...except polyesters.... they get nuked ☢.

Hey, I just bought a dual fuel generator for my etm that I will Install it in my truck, however I don't know nothing about running these portable generators, I am reading the manual so I can get some understanding before I start this so I can use it in a safe manner. While reading the manual what I came across is that the generator has to be on a flat surface while running and this a concern to me because most of the time I will have my truck parked on a drive way, and those drive ways are all made slightly slopping down for the water can run on the street do you know what I mean? I am concerned that when I park having the generator inside my vehicle don't you think it will be unlevel? How do you do it?
@AllAmericanMack
@AllAmericanMack 4 года назад
I would think that they say it should be level just as a precaution so fuel doesn't spill out and if the tank is low on fuel, being unlevel may keep the fuel from flowing into the carburetor. With that said, mine is usually not level. I park as close as possible when I can and there are a lot of steep driveways here. I've never had any problems at all with running it unlevel and it's had a LOT of use. I personally wouldn't worry too much about it because it's going to be impossible the keep it level all the time. Hope this helps.

@@AllAmericanMack great I am learning, thank you so much. Mine is dual fuel which I have mentioned, I will use propane. Should be fine. Also is there a way to redirect the exhaust? Any exhaust kits that you know of? I got the champion 9000.
@carpetcleaning999

@@AllAmericanMack also what do you do on rainy days?
@AllAmericanMack
@AllAmericanMack 4 года назад
Those dual fuels are nice! I may get one when mine needs replacing because it would be nice to run both the generator and Little Giant heater from just one fuel source. I don't know about any kits to reroute the exhaust but only because I've never really looked into it. I'm sure you've seen the way I have mine mounted and it's like that only so the exhaust blows toward the outside.

@@AllAmericanMack yes I saw yours and I will have the exhaust blowing outside, I am also planning to put a fan behind the generator so in hot summer days it runs cooler.

Do you have a glide on that wand bro ?
@AllAmericanMack
@AllAmericanMack 5 лет назад
I don't. The reason is with the equipment I have, I don't want to lose any airflow. I did try a wand with a glide a while back and the dry times weren't quite as good. I should probably get one to use on jobs like this where there is a lot of wand chatter, and some of those residential jobs where it's hard to push.
@NotTooExtreme
@NotTooExtreme 5 лет назад
@@AllAmericanMack I can recommend the mytee Bentley 5 jetted wand with very ease of gliding and minimum of chatter.
@AllAmericanMack
@AllAmericanMack 5 лет назад
@@NotTooExtreme I've looked at the Bentley before but wasn't sure about the swivel. I know it would be nice but seemed like just one more thing to break/cause issues and I don't think they make the non-swivel anymore. Luckily, the account in this video remodeled at the end of last month so now they only have a tiny bit of carpet that I will probably just vlm from here on out. But yeah, the wand chatter was horrible here.

@@AllAmericanMack when I first started with swivel wand few years ago it was weird, since then I can't do without it, It's matter of fact getting used to it. The swivel will last for a long time as long as you grease it monthly. Here is a video that I am using it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LTAxZ0ANN90.html

I roll mine on the other way. Won't be smacked in the face as much.
@AllAmericanMack
@AllAmericanMack 5 лет назад
You are right about that and I used to roll it the other way. I just found that it's easier to pull the reel down than push it up. My helper hasn't figured it out yet even though I have told him several times, but as long as he makes sure the hose connectors don't hang up, it works fine. But I have been smacked a few times myself when I wasn't paying attention lol.
