There are 3 endings: 1. don't collect all the gems. 2. Collect all the gems. 3. Complete the last level in the depression world (green, sad music and mobs don't move)

YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO REACH THE GOOD END, BECAUSE IT'S EVEN MORE WEIRD THAN THIS ENDING

there are three endings the bad ending, the weird ending and the good ending. The weird ending is if you finish the final level at the eversion #4. There are evert spots all around the final level. So just evert down to evert level #4 and beat the level. BAM! Weird ending! Let me tell you there is no ending for collecting 0 gems. Thats a fact.

Did anyone notice that the colors on the game's title go from a cheery yellow to a death/hell looking red?

I like the non-HD version better because there are far fewer hints about the "surprise" awaiting you in world 4 and so it hits you all that much harder. In the original it just looks at first like "oh, the seasons are changing, goes from sunny and happy to like coastal foggy to gloomy and fall/winter looking, wonder if there's a Christmas stage", although eventually there IS a stage with a lot of red and green, but it doesn't feel very holly jolly. If you played it you know which one I mean.

And a lot of people tell them there are only two endings.

The 3rd ending is Beige Alert, World 8 Eversion 4.

You Get All The Gems You Get Secret Ending!

The free version doesn't give you enough ambiance as the HD version. The free version even FEELS like a freeware game. The HD version gives another level of dept, even if there aren't a whole lot added. Overall, the HD version is worth buying over the free version.

The first let's play I ever watched was a 100% of this game, so I was rather excited when I saw this posted. I know there's another ending if you finish the last level on -4 (the green world with a sort of setting sun in the background). That might just be in the steam version, though.

Another good Halloween indie game might be Don't Starve. It has a very Tim Burton-ish feel to it.

There's a hidden eversion point in the final level. Use it then finish the level with all gems to get the secret ending.

I'd say this one still feels like a freeware game. It has to do with how the game scrolls. There should be a little give on each side, allowing you to go back or forward a bit before the screen moves.

Man i don't know if this game is for younger kids who are 6 or 10 cause this game would scare the crap out of them when you get to the hell place and at the princess part still the dark monster princess kinda reminded me of the ten tails from naruto

nightmarish what the flip kind of game starts happy gets dark, just gets screwy those poor creatures turned into monsters by this derpy thing i think i'd just make a game where nothing hurts you the enemies look bad but go right past you but the levels are also unneedlessly long

Not really, the only difference is an extra level that isn't that great anyway. The graphics aren't that much better either.

Huh, I never knew they added a third one for the Steam release. And it's pretty horrible too!

I'm disappointed you didn't attempt to get all the gems. You missed Eversion at its best. The seventh level is actually incredibly complex, requiring you to evert through all of the worlds you have seen thus far to get all the gems. It's a very good puzzle platformer, but this playthrough just took the puzzle out of it. To be honest, you made the game look leagues worse than it is.
