Yes, a remake of a pretty outdated video. I've decided to make this one first instead of Maiden and Beatles videos, because it wouldn't take so long to make it and I still have to listen 17 Iron Maiden albums. #metallica #metal
Load and Reload I would agree have some unnecessary content, but I think if you combine the best songs on both albums and maybe added I Disappear in there, you could have a peak album! You could call it overload, motherload, or something like that.
Love em all, but here goes. 11. St Anger (Frantic) 10. Re Load (Devil's Dance) 9. Death Magnetic (S&R) 8. Load (House Jack Built) 7. Hardwired (Spit Bone) 6. 72 Seasons (Inamorata) 5. Kill em All (Seek & Destroy) 4. Metallica (Sad but True) 3. Ride the Lightning (Creep) 2. And Justice for All (Harvey) 1. Master of Puppets (Orion)
@@nielsgerrits I totally agree, people are so autistic about the pRoDUctiOn that they miss out on Metallica's classic legendary songwriting, with some of their best work yet like "su***de and redemption" or some of their heaviest songs like "my apocalypse"
I’d say my list would be: 1. And Justice For All 2. Ride The Lightning 3. Master of Puppets 4. Death Magnetic 5. Black Album 6. Kill ‘Em All 7. Hardwired … To Self-Destruct 8. 72 Seasons 9. Reload 10. Load 11. St. Anger
@@cherrikola999 yeah, that's what makes this album unique. of all the 'worst metal albums of all-time', this one, I can enjoy. unlike most albums by big bands labeled as such because their records're uninspiring, this one is the complete opposite. st anger is fun af
I don't like the snare depending on the song. I actually really like Frantic and Sweet Amber. I don't like All within my Hands but i really like to make fun of the lyrics
It gets because it can't really compete with others. Several songs are great, but the sounds and productions wasn't as good. I almost can image how great St. Anger and Frantic would be if they were on Justice or Metallica albums. They should have rerecorded them in style of Death Magnetic.
As a St Anger enjoyer, I am triggered. Why do people hate that album? It has some wonderful lyricism behind it, on how James struggled through various addictions, and The Unnamed Feeling just makes me wanna cry every time that song plays. The album is my favorite album out of all the artists that I listen to, hands down. Call me crazy, but I am. The rawness, the unfiltered emotions - they struck a cord down below my heart so deep that I can never let go of St Anger at all. Sure, my favorite Metallica song is Screaming Suicide, but my favorite album was, is, and will remain St Anger. The first time I listened to it, I put it on repeat for a month. I still remember crying to The Unnamed Feeling and being so motivated on Shoot Me Again. The album just means a lot to me, and how I battle the everlasting struggle that is life, cuz I see my reflection in the window, and it looks so different, so different than what you see.
@@julesc8895 We should just respect each other's opinion and it's okay to (not) like If Darkness lr any other song but let's be honest, it's mediocre compared to other songs in 72 seasons, even Crown is kind of better. I try to defend that song a lot, the "temptation" part is really cool and intro as well but it should have been only 4 min or smth in order to be less repetitive
See my problem with Lulu is that it is NOT a Metallica album. Way I see it it's Lou Reed's pet project that he just happened to ask the band to play the instrumentals for. I have never given it a listen because of that, but frankly I'm not gonna waste energy hopping on the hate bandwagon for that record lol Perhaps if I get into Lou Reed someday then I'll give Lulu a shot
When it comes to Lulu, the first song is the worst song, and the last song is the best. So there's that. When it comes to Lou Reed, listen to Velvet Underground's album Nico if you want an entry point. I'd recommend White Light / White Heat and Loaded after that.
When Metallica fans rate albums they put Metallica album so low because they think of Enter Sandman, Sad But True, The Unforgiven and Nothing Else Maters. When I think of the Metallica album I think about Holier Than Thou, Wherever I May Roam, Don't Tread On Me, The God That Failed, My Friend Of Misery and The Struggle of Within. Those songs put the Metallica on #1 rank to me. Though must admit, I also think about Enter Sandman and The Unforgiven. The same could be said about Load. Most think of Until It Sleeps, King Nothing, Hero of the Day, Bleeding Me. I don't think about those songs, my mind goes to Wasting My Hate, Mama Said, Thron Within, Ronnie and The Outlaw Torn (Unencumbered by Manufacturing Restrictions Version). The second part of the album starting even with Poor Twisted Me really kicks in. Load goes in top 3 for me! The same way people rate Ride The Lighting so high, but don't know the rest of the songs besides the amazing For Whom The Bell Tolls, Fade To Black. If you could look beyond these songs the album wouldn't be so great. Rest of the songs are decent to good/great. Master of Puppets similary, but it has only about one or two decent songs, the rest is fantastic. ...And Justice For all..... Never really iked the One (again people judge the album by that one song). Dyers Eve, Harvester of Sorrow, Blackened, title track, Eye of The Beholder and To Live is To Die to me!
1. And Justice for All (favorite track: One) 2. Master of Puppets (Disposable Heroes) 3. Ride The Lightning (Creeping Death) 4. Metallica (The Unforgiven) 5. Kill 'Em All (The Four Horsemen) 6. 72 Seasons (72 Seasons) 7. Hardwired to Self-Destruct (Spit Out The Bone) 8. Death Magnetic (The Day That Never Comes) 9. Load (The Outlaw Torn) 10. Garage Inc. (Mercyful Fate) 11. ReLoad (The Memory Remains) 12. St. Anger (Frantic) 13. Lulu

1.Master Of Puppets sometimes gets this stupid hate because of title song because it is most played song. But the whole album is (production and creativity are outsdanding) technical, agressive and melodic style combo is so unique. It was that album where they pushed to the limits. It is unbelievable how they made this album so great that it never gets boring. 2.Ride The Lightning is the second best album production and creativity wise. All songs are so different. Agressive and emotional riffs and solos made this album unique and non one dimensional. 3.Kill Em All is the best debut thrash album. Maybe few bands could compete with their debut albums. This album is so epic and sorry Slayer fans, but Slayer sucked with their solos and were not that catchy with their riffs. Kill Em All is the start of pure thrash, speed. 4.And Justice For All showed that band gassed out and album had terrible production. Even debut album had better production. Band lost Cliff and alcohol problems. Big tour dates and terrible recording ideas, decisions. Just agressive style, technical. Composition wise too much transitions and lack of melodies, effects. Kirk's solos were lacking something what previous albums had. No bass was a terrible mistake and it is mystery who's, who's to blame about terrible production. 5.Black Album is good and style changes are good. Mainstream style was goid idea to explore more with styles and gain more attention, commercial success. Although most songs were too simple and easy. But again, this was understandable because of their decision to try mainstream waters. Most metal heads would not like this album because of lack of what they did in their other albums.
My list: KEA: Best - Motorbreath Worst - Anesthesia (im ready for the hate) RTL: Best - Escape (fight me on this, you wont change my mind) Worst - FTB (still like 8.8/10) MOP: Best - Disposable Heroes Worst - The thing that should not be AJFA Best - One Worst - Harvester of Sorrow Black album Best - My Friend of Misery Worst - Don't Tread on Me Load Best - Bleeding Me Worst - Poor Twisted Me Reload Best - The Unforgiven II Worst - Slither St. Anger Best - Frantic Worst - Shoot Me Again Death Magnetic Best - Suicide & Redemption (or Cyanide) Worst - Judas Kiss HTSD Best - Spit out the bone Worst - ManUNkind 72 seasons Best - Inamorata Worst - If darkness had a son

I'll add some rankings myself because I'm bored. Kill em all(The sixth best Metallica album, 7.5/10): Best: Phantom lord(Such fun thrashy riffs and an amazing interlude) Worst: Jump in the fire(A little boring compared to the rest) Ride the lightning(Third best, 9/10): Best: Ride the lightning(Amazing solo and riffs) Worst: Escape(Not a bad song, but falls short compared to the rest) Master of puppets(Second best Metallica album, 9.5/10): Best: Orion (This was the hardest to pick honestly, a lot of songs on this album could have gone here) Worst:The thing that should not be(I still love it though) ...And Justice For All(The best Metallica album, 9.9/10. It would be perfect if it had bass): Best: One(One of Metallica's best songs, it was between this and dyers eve) Worst: Harvester of sorrow(bit too long and repetitive, but still an amazing song) Black album(7th best album, 7/10): Best: Of wolf and man (Overall didn't like the black album, but it has some good songs) Worst: don't tread on me( painfully boring imo) Load(haven't really listened to either load or reload enogh to rank them): Best: ain't my bitch worst: poor twisted me Reload: Best: Fuel (only song on load or reload I listen to regularly) Worst: Slither St Anger(5/10, better production could have made this album decent): Best: Frantic(The live versions of this song are really good) Worst: Purify(I absolutely hate this song) Death magnetic(The 4th best Metallica album, so underrated. 9/10(I only listwn to the guitar hero 3 version though)) Best: That was just your life(Either this or all nightmare long) Worst: the Judas kiss(Hard choice, all the songs are good) Hardwired(7/10, some really good songs, but some boring ones as well, 8th best album): Best: Spit out the bone(Easy choice, the title track is the only other contender) Worst: ManUNkined(really mixed album, and this song is the worst, it was either this or murder one) 72 Seasons(It has a lot of problems, but I still prefer it to the black album. 5th best album, 8/10) Best: Room of mirrors(One of Metallica's best songs in the past 30 years, also one the James best vocal performance ever) Worst: Crown of barbed wire(Cool song name, doesn't live up to it though.)
*This is all my personal opinion and how i feel each of these albums* . Wrote Em' all - 9.6 /10 I think Dave did a good job on the solos Ride The Lightning -10/10 Master of Puppets - 100/10 And Justice For All - 9/10 Black Album - 8/10 Load - 4/10 don't know what to think of this … but what happened after their fourth record lol Reload - 5.6 /10 Meh... its alright, its "hearable". but not my choice to listen to this album. Garage Inc. - 7.9 /10 I mean. Great cover album ! better then the load albums for sure !! St. Anger - 8.1 /10 Probably different opinion from others.. but love the snare, love this style of this album, this album rocks hard for me!. Death Magnetic - 10/10 My absolute Childhood banger! This album has a special place in my heart. lulu - 2/5 … never really listened to this.. don't know what to say bout this to be honest Hardwired... To Self-Destruct - 9/10 Its good Music that's all i know... 72 Seasons - 6.5 /10 its alright but its like drinking Coca-Cola light but it still has a few great songs innit!

Am I the only one that actually doesn’t mind the production of Death Magnetic? I mean I understand it but it doesn’t compare to the very awful production of St. Anger. It’s really not that bad
I never woulda thought the guy with the anime pfp would diss on lemey so hard. Have some respect. Did ur dad leave after he found out u dislike motor head?
To this day, I STILL don't know how If Darkness Had A Son became a single. It's like if Murder One became a single. I mean, come on, just what was the conversation for this one? "Oh, let's make one of the singles promoting the new album a filler track that starts nowhere, goes nowhere, has a solo more uninspiring than LowTierGod and sits there writhing in musical agony until it fades out with a whimper?" I'd be willing to bet Shadows Follow or Room Of Mirrors could have replaced If Darkness Had A Son for the third single slot. Fun album all things considered, but damn.
@@Ryu_Ake I liked the Screaming Suicide solo until I discovered they had ripped off Hate Train, one of the Beyond Magnetic extras and a criminally underrated song. Plus, Screaming Suicide has some corny lines, like "keep me inside, my name is suicide". Not exactly "I bathe in holy water" levels of bad, but y'know.
I agree, but I hate more Screaming Suicide - those two chosen as singles really do not make any sense. Especially Suicide as the 2nd; I guess James really liked the song, and I remember Robert couldn't wait to see people's reaction live, still it sucks. I didn't follow all the tour dates, they dropped the tune after the European leg, hopefully it wont' return. Anyway, Darkness sucks as well. Those are my least fav songs off the album probably. Unbelievable they didn't choose, as mentioned, Shadows or TFG?
1. ...And Justice for All best Metallica album. James, Kirk, and Lars at their best. As a Prog guy I really love this album 2. Master of Puppets this and AJFA are both 10/10 3. Ride The Lightning One song away from being a perfect album but damn Escape just doesn't fit. 4. Black Album great album Enter Sandman and Nothing Else Matters are easily my least favorite lyrics are super cringe 5. Kill 'em All just because it's at 5 doesn't I don't love it. Great album 8/10 6. Death Magnetic it's okay maybe even good but not great suicide and redemption is amazing though Load and Reload are dogshit. St anger is dogshit. I've never listened to Harwired or 72 Seasons so idk about those.
1. Master Of Puppets (10/10) No explanation required 2. Death Magnetic (9,5/10) DM is my most listened to album ever on Spotify. All 10 songs are bangers and the mixing and production are completely fine, idk why people call them bad. Some tracks like End Of The Line and The Judas Kiss could be a minute or two shorter though. 3. ...And Justice For All (9,5/10) Lack of bass puts this below DM, still all 9 songs are great 4. Black Album (9,25/10) Very solid record, nothing bad to say 5. Ride The Lightning (9/10) I like this album, however Escape is pretty bad, Ride The Lightning and Call of Ktulu are mediocre. This only leaves 5 great songs, which isn't enough to earn a higher placing on my list 6. Load (8,75/10) The album that got me into Metallica. Always loved it, still do. Most songs are great apart from a few bad picks, also one of my favorite mixings 7. 72 Seasons (8,5/10) Pretty good record with Inamorata jumping into my top 5 Metallica songs. Includes some mediocre stuff but there's enough very enjoyable material to earn seventh place. James' vocals and the harmonies are highlights of the album. 8. Kill 'Em All (8,25/10) Most overrated Metallica album. Musically repetitive compared to other albums (except st. anger), IMO James' weakest vocals. Anesthesia saves this album from falling further down tbh 9. Hardwired... To Self-Destruct (8/10) Has a couple great songs but also a couple of pretty bad ones. 10. Reload (8/10) Similar to Load but less interesting. I still like it, but some songs are a bit of a drag. 11. St. Anger (6/10) The drums don't bother me too much, although the album would be better without them. Main problems here are long and repetitive songs with no solos. I kind of like the agressive vocals and lyrics. There are some really good tracks here too, like The Unnamed Feeling and Frantic.
METALLICA RULES!!!🤘 THERE'S NO THRASH OR WHAT THEM... LABLE THIS BAND AFTER ALL THESE YEARS... STILL SELLING OUT ARENAS TODAY!! IT'S THE AMERICAN DREAM TO BE COME WHO YOU WANT TO BE. IF YOU DON'T LIKE THEM... FIND ANOTHER BAND TO PICK ON!!! 🎼😎🥁🎸💕🙏❤️😊👊
Giving Death Magnetic and Hardwired such low points just doesn't work in my opinion. I don't get why those albums are automatically worse than Kill 'Em All. Seriously, besides hardcore thrash metal fans, does anyone actually enjoy that one? Nealry all the songs are same and there's just aggrrssion and rage, nothing else. While Death Magnetic and Hardwired have some beautiful and slower, more meaningful tracks, also they have aggressive, fast and destructive songs too
As someone who listened to Death Magnetic, Hardwired and 72 Seasons for the first time all around the same time, 72 Seasons is the most compelling to me. The first four tracks in particular are more memorable than anything I heard off of the other two albums.
Kill 'em all and Ride the Lighting are extremely overrated albums. Load and Death Magnetic underrated, and even Metallica gets underrated these days. People who rate Ride The Lighting so high base their view on just two songs For Whom The Bell Tolls and Fade to Black and don't even know the rest of songs on the album. Those are one of the best Metallica songs ever, but there are better Metallica albums.
