Mr. Pink, oh really? Lots of MMA fighters have a karate background like Lyoto Machida, Stephen Thompson, Sage Northcutt, Georges St. Pierre, and many many others. I'm not defending CT or Samson, but don't say Karate won't do shit since all those fighters I mentioned, and CT, could kick your ass with karate alone.

thatguy7698 Yeah they have a karate background.... they aren’t karate fighters though .... without boxing, wrestling , jiu jitsu and several other martial arts they wouldn’t be shit... I do mma and can appreciate karate, but it really isn’t effective unless you’re fighting someone who has no idea what they are doing, and it’s also effective in point fighting but that’s about all...

It depends on how good their schooling is. I've heard some Karate schools give out belts way to quickly to kind of satisfy customers.

Gangsta Taco bro I mean of course with your background you would do well you literally practice multiple styles so I hope anyone with a similar background to you would be able to beat someone practicing one style. However single style vs single style its about effective as anything else.

Good vid. He is not punching the bag, but pushing it. That is why it swings so much. A correct punch would hardly move a heavy bag...just like a bullet wouldn't send a man flying. Punches, like bullets, are meant to go through a target. Not to move it.
