Afternoon Allen, Time just flew past in this video. there was so much to listen to, and the water fountains are gorgeous. The different shapes and the various spouts, oh my they were such a treat. I loved the community garden project. That is all good fresh food, what a wonderful selection of vegetables< I heard the remark Kathy made about the tomatoes, so that could also be used as a test bed for new varieties to see how they respond to growing conditions! A memorial garden is great, many people can make use of that if they just wish to have time out and seek a bit of solace. and the Prairie Garden, goodness it is never ending. Kansas is some city, with so many ideas to offer. After all that sightseeing, nothing beats a meal done in good old fashioned barbeque style. The better the quality of meat the better dinner. Thanks Allen, but time is of the essence, so I be satisfied with what I saw, it was so enjoyable. Thank you for posting it was a great adventure. Kind regards..

The Kauffman Memorial Gardens are one of my all time favorites because it is a smaller more intimate garden but packed full of delightful flower beds and fountains. It’s a stunner all year round. Sadly I didn’t see the OP Arboretum, which is on the KS side in south Overland Park, about 30 minutes south of downtown KCMO, but it is stunner as well. Powell Gardens is very nice as well, I love the fruit trees, but it’s about and hour (or a bit more) south of downtown KC so not as easy access. Would love to see more gardens in other cities within a days drive of Little Rock.
